ADONIS’s POV.
As soon as the barouch took off, I could not take my eyes off the lady seated beside me for even a moment. Something about her intrigued me. I was not sure if it was her confidence even when I treated her badly or the way she spoke. But one thing was for certain, she was bad for me, I needed to keep my distance away from her while making her pay for her father’s sins, he wronged me and his daughter must pay for it.
Her eyes were fixated on the window and I could see her smile at intervals, her smile was pretty much annoying for me.
“Why are you smiling so hard?” I couldn’t stop myself from asking her, “is something amusing going on in your head?”
