(Jet)
“Hi J…?”
“f**k off.”
Sorry for my manners, I'm just in a bad mood today. Why do you ask? Well, because today is the first day back at school, and I'm very much pissed off because of it. That and the fact that it's a Monday morning and the rain has been pouring non-stop. Traffic was a killer to get here because I decided not to run since my pack was a far distance away from here and yes, I almost killed someone on the way here.
My mood was a buzz kill, even my friends knew when to stay the f**k away from me. My parents have been annoying me lately, telling me that it was time for me to find my mate. My mother even went as far as saying that gender shouldn't be a problem as long as I found my mate, that's more important. Like f**k that.
I'm eighteen for crying out loud, this was the final year for me and I very much had my whole life planned out before my parents decided to snatch it away from me. Oh, wait, allow me to introduce myself.
The names Jet Harrington, sounds badass right? I celebrated my birthday a few months ago, which was May ten. I am 6'2, well-built and mixed. I have black curly hair and gray eyes. Yeah, so, my mother is black and my father white. I got my eye color from my dad and my hair from my mother.
I once teased my mother about marrying outside her race, but she told me that she didn't get along with black men, so she had to do a switch up. That and the fact that dad was her mate, which didn't give her a chance to change her mind.
Because of my fighting skills, I decided to become a warrior for my pack that's called silvercrest. We are located here in Berkeley, California with only a hundred and twenty members so far. No, we weren't the largest or strongest, but when it came to family we protect those we love fiercely.
I thought that becoming the head warrior would get my parents to back the f**k off and give me some breathing space, but no. They want something else, and that's for me to find my mate.
I made my way to my locker, pushing everyone out of my way and ignoring those who wanted to talk to me. I admit that this bad boy attitude of mine was going to get me in a lot of trouble one day. As I was taking out my books, I saw some of my classmates making their way towards their lockers, but as always, these illiterate fools had to be gossiping.
“ Did you hear Amy? We are getting a new math teacher! I heard that he's hot and kind of domineering, but we'll have to wait and see if it's true.” The girl, I believe to be Christine or Chrissy whatever, flips her blonde hair while giggling and blushing like an i***t, who was irritating the f**k out of me.
“ I just hope that it's true. This school could use an upgrade. I'm tired of these old-looking hags that are always breathing down my neck.” I didn't stick around to hear anymore because I would literally walk up to them and strangle them to death. It's like they were asking for it.
I don't understand why I needed an education. I could read and write, so wouldn't that be enough? To say I hated school was an understatement. I loathed it. The students that go here are constantly trying to get into my pants. Both boys and girls. Yeah, I've f****d a few willing w****s, but that's not the point.
The point is, I didn't like coming here. There were plenty of fake assholes that goes here at green valley high. Except for my friends Leon and Maddox. Those two are mates and really protective of each other. I was a bit jealous of them, but I had to wait until I found mine.
Reviewing my schedule I noticed that I had math today and on Thursday. I don't even know the purpose of math. It's just a brain-teaser for those who don't have a brain, like myself.
Soon after the bell rang, students rushes in and the teacher walks in next. It sucks that I had to sit through English class, but I had to get this over with. The rest of the classes went by faster than I expected, and now it was time for math class. The one class I was dreading the most.
My wolf who is called peanut wigglebutt 'ahem.' Ok, sorry. My wolf, who is called blade, was too excited for my liking. He seems a bit anxious, something that has never happened to him before.
'I feel like I could fly to the sky and grab a star for youuuu..' he started singing out of nowhere. What the hell?
' Will you shut up!?' I hissed, which had him shutting up. Good, now I can concentrate. I don't even know what his problem is. Even him being quiet was irritating the crap out of me. He wouldn't tell me why he was acting like that, so why do I need to listen to his annoying voice?
' Hey I'm not annoying. You're the one who's literally flexing in the mirror every day before school.' He growled out, making me roll my eyes.
' At least I look damn good. Give me credit where credit is due.' He didn't bother replying, letting me know that he was only jealous. I finally made it to math class, which took forever to get to. Opening the door, the scent of lilac suddenly hits my nostrils out of nowhere, almost causing me to almost lose consciousness. I started to search for the source of said smell when my eyes landed on the teacher immediately. Oh hell no, this can't be happening. The teacher is my f*****g mate! What the hell am I supposed to do? How the hell will this even work? I guess I'll have to wait and see.
