I can’t believe my dad is made me come to this ball. If I didn’t con my buddy, Chris, to come with me, I think I literally would have killed myself. I just got home from the Army after submitting paperwork to go down to be a reservist after being active duty for the past 6 and a half years. I dreaded coming home, but I needed to go back to a sense of familiarity. Once I hit 8 years, I am not reenlisting. Being overseas during the last 2 tours really opened my eyes.
I kept in contact with my dad and he wanted me to come home. His best friend is sick and he wanted to help take care of him.
