“Speak now woman.” Jayme ordered.
“I’m not a fuckin dog. You can’t just tell me to speak.” I rolled my eyes. “How about a ‘what happened?’, ‘how did he take it?’, or a simple ‘why did you lie about the cowboys?”
She threw her head back and laughed at the last one. I know it was wrong, I shouldn’t have lied about it but damn, it was so easy to make them squirm.
