Gage was everything I could ever want. He was caring, gentle, patient and understanding with me. He was everything I could possibly ask for in a mate. I woke up before he did, his arms still locked tight around me protectively, but he looked so peaceful, and I didn’t want to disturb him. I had actually slept really good next to him. It didn’t feel awkward like I thought it would. Gage jerked awake and startling me. He quickly looked at the time and then at me. I could tell by the look on his face something was wrong, already. I don’t know why I had expected a peaceful day after all that has just transpired.
