They soon came to the same conclusion as I did; Slimane didn’t want to attract any more attention on himself or his operation wherever that might be from now on. Khalid’s brother had confirmed that Slimane was not in Nouakchott – not that he knew anyway – and that no one had seen any drugs arriving at port, neither in Mauritania nor Dakar.
