Enzo “None of us would ever want to do anything bad to our campus,” the new recruit said. “We’re just trying to protect the town that we love. Right, guys?” But I wasn’t listening to her. I was looking intently at Nina, who I had made cry because of my harsh words. I didn’t want to be here anymore; I needed some time alone. So, without a word, I turned on my heel and stormed off before anyone could stop me. I heard Nina call after me once or twice, but I didn’t turn back or even respond. I just kept going until I reached the back door of the hockey arena, flung it open, and went inside.
