Tana
My mind is a whirlwind. Casen explained his world to me, but I don’t fully think I grasped it until now. I can’t stop this possessiveness of Casen. I can feel a prowling under my skin and in my mind. It's as if my dragon doesn’t want anyone to harm Casen. He is ours.
I pulled back my flame and nodded my head to the queen. She touched Casen. A small growl escaped that I couldn’t control. She smiled at me. She’s young and beautiful. I should be jealous, but I can see the huge ring on her finger and the way the man with black hair that holds the baby watches her intently. He wears a similar wedding band. He must be her husband.
It took no more than a few seconds before she released him from her touch. He grabbed at his head and shook it. “Juno!” He said as he stared at her. He reached forward and grasped her in a hug. I growled and my flames returned with a vengeance. “I think you need to let me go, Comet.” She said.
Casen released her and looked at me. “It’s okay.” He tried to soothe me. He rushed across the room to the group. “Arosan, Mikah, Ravi.” He threw his arms around the man with the baby he called Arosan. The one he called Mikah wrapped his arms around him from the side. They rested their heads together as Casen gently caressed Ravi’s head. I was majorly confused, and I don’t think I am the only one.
“Who are you? Them?” “It’s a long story. Can we get cleaned up and eat maybe? It was a long flight.” I looked down at Corbin. “Stand.” I commanded him and Callum. They got off the floor. “You will see to it that the kitchen knows you have guests. I will show them to rooms in Casen’s wing. You better have removed that little b*tch or I will throw her out the window. No one is to disturb his wing of the house. Do I make myself clear? No staff whatsoever.” “Ye, yes.” He trembled in his reply.
“Did you get rid of my belongings?” “Not yet." We packed them and were going to send them to Jacob McDowell. Explaining to him of your passing. Ainsley left two weeks ago.” “What were you going to tell him? You know what, never mind. Just bring my belongings to Casen’s room immediately.”
“Passing?” Queen Robyn queried. “Perhaps I can explain it later.” I offered. She nodded. “Follow me.” I ordered everyone. I pulled my flame back in.
Casen slipped his hand in mine as we walked back to his wing. “Choose whatever rooms you would like to use. These are ours.” I gestured to Casen’s rooms. Queen Robyn went to the room Ainsley occupied. It is the closest to our room. I noticed the red haired woman and the sandy blonde haired man took a room together. The other two men took rooms to themselves. Lyrai and Rhistal took a room together.
Casen pulled me into his rooms by my hand. “Casen, what is happening?” I turned on him. “Robyn will explain better than I can. You should know my name is Comet as well.” “What?” “It will hopefully make sense soon. We are probably in for a long day.” He told me.
There was a knock on the door and Casen answered it. I saw Callum standing there with a few boxes stacked. “Set them over there.” Casen pointed. Callum did as he was told. He eyed me warily as he set the boxes down and moved to leave.
We all took seats in the dining room. It felt a little weird to be in here and not in the kitchens to eat. Casen sat me next to him. Queen Robyn sat next to me. Callum took his seat and Corbin took his. Everyone filled the rest of the seats. Several covered plates were brought in and placed in front of us. The covers were removed, and the kitchen staff left the room.
“Can we talk freely in here?” I whispered to Casen. “Yes,” Corbin answered. Casen nodded. Queen Robyn stood. “Perhaps I should introduce all of us. This is my husband, Prince Adrian Drake, alpha of the Black Moon Clan, and our son, Prince Chase Drake.” She walked behind, touching her husband’s shoulders.
“This is Michael Greenwood. This is Honorary Prince Collin Bell and co-alpha of the Black Moon Clan. This is my cousin Queen Kalina Brenton, ruler of the mermaids of Sereia Kingdom. This is her husband, King Drew Brenton, king of the werewolves in North America and alpha of the Twilight Star Clan.”
“But you called them by different names.” Callum piped up. “Yes, that is why we are here. We were looking for Comet.” She gestured to Casen. Prince Adrian nodded to his wife. “I am also Juno, daughter of King Cepheus of all light celestial beings. I belong to the six celestial brothers. Mikah, Comet, Oberon, Badar, Arosan, and Ravi.”
“This is Arosan. This is Mikah, the oldest of the brothers. My son is Ravi. And Prince Casen is Comet, the second oldest of the brothers. We used to observe and watch over the Andromeda System. An evil dark celestial, Valac destroyed key planets, causing the rest of the planets to implode. As punishment, my father sent us here to Earth.
Valac swore to find me and take me from the brothers. We decided to incarnate our beings on Earth since we couldn’t do anything to protect Andromeda. I have spent a lifetime with each of the brothers as their wife and mother except Ravi. I have only been his mother.”
“But why are you here now?” Corbin asked. “Because in a battle against the dark fae King Niall, who was trying to gain my throne, Valac found me after I killed King Niall. Arosan and Mikah were able to help me push him into the spirit world through a door I opened, but that will only hold him for so long. We need to find the brothers. It is the only way to stop Valac and save Earth from destruction. We still have to find Oberon and Badar.”
Robyn explained more about what they had been through. She touched each of our heads to show us memories of a time when she was killed and older and now when the time line was corrected. I was surprised to learn about Collin’s wife and what she could do.
I needed a break after breakfast, and they wanted to sleep. I changed into a comfortable outfit to dance. I contacted my professor and hoped that saying my dad was really sick would suffice why I have been missing. I took my phone and made my way to the ballroom. Casen followed me.
“What are you doing?” He asked. “I’m going to go and finally dance on that floor. I still have a final dance I need to finish.” “Can I dance with you?” I smiled and he squeezed my hand. Casen plugged my phone into the sound system, and I chose my playlist. I began playing it and took to the floor.
Casen took me in his arms, and we danced around. I led him in the areas where he wasn’t sure of all of my moves. When I had no content, he took over and led me through some moves. I felt calm as we moved over the whole floor. There is too much new information to process.
I heard clapping. When we finished dancing, I turned to see Lyrai and Rhistal watching us. “Your majesty is a beautiful dancer.” “Just call me Tana it's much easier.” Lyrai bowed her head. “As you wish.” I was nervous for them to continue to watch us dance, but I needed the practice after two weeks of not dancing.
We danced past lunch. I didn’t want to stop. Casen didn’t seem to mind. Lyrai and Rhistal enjoyed the show. “They are amazing.” I heard over the music. My back was to the door. I turned to see everyone watching us, including Corbin and Callum. I blushed with the audience we attracted.
