Chapter Thirty-Five

2241 Words
Casen It has been a jumble today. Tana has been highly emotional, still processing the letter from her father. Dancing during class distracted her only momentarily. I know all of us are in a highly emotional state. I never thought we would gain two royal celestial females. And that one of them was meant for me. Orien drove us to classes today because Tana couldn’t do it. I tried talking with her in mind link during class, but she kept telling me she would be alright, and it is just nerves to look through the documents and pictures when she returns to the estate. She couldn’t bring herself to look at even one of the pictures before we left. It may have been for the best. Tana is sandwiched between Lyrai and me. Rhistal is riding up front with Orien. Tana is resting in my side just breathing me in. My nerves are on edge for tonight. We will thoroughly be complete as a family. There won’t be anywhere we can go without sensing each other once we waken Tana’s celestial side. Orien pulled into the garage, and we started to pile out. No sooner had we entered the house and my brothers were there to hug her. I could sense their agitation at being apart from her now that we know she belongs with us. Robyn was the one clinging to her the most once she got her arms around her. I can’t imagine how she is feeling knowing she has her cousin by blood with her. “I hope you don’t mind, but I need to deal with the documents and pictures my father left me.” Tana said. “I was thinking about that. If your mother locked your memories with your father away. Maybe I can unlock them. We may have to do it in the dream world. I am certain she buried them deeply so no one could pull them out of you and put you at risk.” Robyn suggested. “How do we do this?” Tana asked. “Well, now that I know we are blood it will be much simpler to connect. That is not to say this journey will be easy. We may need the brothers to help us, especially if the memories are locked that deep.” “I can put you all to sleep,” Lyrai said. “Whose room then?” Adrian asked. “Ours. Tana should be where her energy is at peace the most.” “We should drag the mattress from your bed and one of ours to lay on the sitting room floor. This way we can all be more comfortable and hopefully fit,” Michael suggested. I nodded. “We’ll go get the pictures then,” I said. My brothers were carrying the mattress from Adrian and Robyn’s room. It made sense. Their room is the closest and it may help Robyn to be connected because it’s their mattress. Tana broke away from me and raced for the room before I could blink. I jogged after her. I caught her dashing into the bathroom. I set the envelopes down and rushed to the bathroom. Tana was emptying her belly and Robyn was rubbing her back and speaking soothing words to her. When Tana finished and she was washing up and rinsing her mouth out, she gripped the counter and sobs burst through her body. “Hey, hey it’s going to be okay.” Robyn cooed. “It, it…” Tana tried to take a deep breath as best as she could. I wrapped my arms around her from behind. “It’s not that. I’m sorry. I’m just super emotional today. I can’t calm them down. I’m not upset. I am nervous, but my emotions are just running rampant and…” Tana’s flame burst out and surrounded her. We didn’t have to step back from her. It is her flame that doesn’t burn us or anything around us. Robyn wrapped her arms around both of us from Tana’s side and held on. “You’re going to be okay. I remember these days when I was newly pregnant with Chase. Mind you, they weren’t as intense, but you are dealing with some highly emotional things. It is not easy to keep control of when your hormones and emotions are running wild and crazy.” Robyn soothed her. It took a few more minutes for Tana to gain a little semblance of control back. We walked back into the sitting room, and everyone was waiting patiently for us. “How should we do this?” Tana asked. “Casen and Adrian you rest at the center top of the mattresses. Robyn and Tana, you lay upon your mates. They can keep you grounded while the rest of us will lay around you and touch each of you along with each other to form a connection.” Michael ordered us. Adrian and I took our places. We rested Chase between us with our arms around him, cradling him. Robyn and Tana laid down between our legs and held each other’s hand on the inside between them. Orien laid along my side and Tana’s resting his head on my side near Tana’s head. He touched her shoulder as I was touching her head with my free hand. Michael laid in mimic to Orien. Brayon settled himself on his back between Robyn and Tana’s legs. He reached his arms across their thi.ghs to grasp Michael and Orien’s hands. “Are you all comfortable?” Lyrai asked. “Yes.” We all said. “Follow my pull into the dream world. You need to let me guide everyone. Keep your thoughts from straying if you can.” Robyn commanded. “Okay. Go ahead Lyrai.” Lyrai nodded and moved towards us. She leaned over Michael to touch Robyn’s head first. A small light came from her fingertip almost like in E.T., but the light entered Robyn. Lyrai maneuvered herself and did the same to Tana. Once they were asleep, she proceeded to touch each of us with her finger. I opened my eyes to a room full of white light. We were all standing there looking at each other. “This is our subconscious minds that held our celestial beings until we woke up.” Robyn explained. Tana was shivering and trembling as if she was cold. I got concerned all of us brothers were staring at her. “It’s okay. Tana is fine. Her blood allows her to be here, but her celestial side isn’t awake just yet. Her soul is just struggling a little to comprehend this room, but we are not staying. I am going to wrap Tana in a hug and all of you need to be touching both of us. Here, let me hold Ravi between us.” Robyn reached for Ravi. Connect with your celestial side before we leave this place. I closed my eyes, and I could feel my side of Comet push front and center. We didn’t wait to be told and each of us surrounded our females and touched each of them. It was a jumbled mess of arms and hands interwoven, but we weren’t uncomfortable. We were shoulder to shoulder surrounding them. I felt a shifting as if we were floating through space, almost like when we were celestials observing Andromeda’s planets. It is a little cliché to think about us floating in space, but it sort of is how it happened. “She’s so precious, just like a little fire goddess.” A gentling male tone spoke through my mind. I knew we all were still holding onto each other, but we were now apart as the dream or memory came into focus. A hospital room materialized around us. In the bed was a woman with auburn hair, but it leaned more towards the brown side though the light reflected off bits of red. Her hazel eyes followed a black-haired man as he hunched over something in his arms. He was a big man, honestly a little bigger than all of us. He turned and faced the woman. He was holding a little baby with black hair as well. She was snuggling her tiny head into his huge palm. He peered down at her with silver-green eyes that held so much love and ultimate joy. “Grayer, you are going to spoil her, and she is not even an hour old.” “She deserves to be spoiled Shalia. You don’t know how rare she is.” “Yes, I do. I know all about her rare flying friend. How can I not?” Shalia smiled. “That is only a portion of what makes her special. It has been far too long since a royal celestial female has been born.” Grayer chuckled. “If my brother had only had Juno after Tana, I would be king, but I am not complaining. I love my niece and brother. I am going to need to find her celestial brothers when she is grown. She will need them just as Juno needed her celestial brothers.” “What do you mean? What happens if you don’t find celestial brothers for her? I’m confused.” “Celestial females are rare. Royal celestial females are extremely rare. They have an increased chance to give birth to another female, but it is not exclusive to royal females. However, all female celestials are treated with the utmost care. The more powerful the female, the more brothers are needed to properly care for and protect them. I can only hope I can find a good amount of brothers like Juno has. I have only heard of Juno’s brothers containing that many brothers in one family. Most celestial brothers are two or three. Tana will need a minimum of four.” “Grayer, don’t fret over that. There is time to find her celestial brothers. Right now, let’s just enjoy our little princess.” Grayer moved to Shalia’s side and she adjusted so he could lay next to her with Tana in between them. The floating sensation happened again, and we shifted quickly through many memories of Grayer playing with Tana and guiding her. She was so happy. This is the father I want to be to our son. The memories finally settled on what appeared to be her eleventh birthday party. “Mummy, do it, do it.” Little Tana exclaimed with glee. Shalia grinned at Tana. She was on fire in the next instant with a white flame caressing her as Tana’s red flame caresses her. Shalia flicked her hand and several balls of flames shot from her hand and began circling Tana’s body. Tana giggled and cheered as the flame tickled her flesh. One ball brushed across the candles on the cake, lighting them in one sweep before the balls rotated in a circle above Tana’s head almost like a crown. “Look daddy. Mummy made me a crown.” She beamed. “That is as it should be My Little Fire Goddess. Now, make a wish and blow the candles out.” Little Tana closed her eyes and scrunched her face. Grayer lifted her to hover over the cake and Tana blew the candles out. He tossed her in the air, catching her and twirling her around as she clung to his neck giggling. Shalia was grinning as Grayer immediately stopped twirling Tana. “Shalia.” He said her name like a command. “I can smell them. Shalia take Tana and run. He hugged Tana close to him before placing her in Shalia’s arms. “No, I want to stay with daddy.” Tana cried. “We can’t, princess. Daddy will find us. I promise.” “No, daddy, daddy.” Tana sobbed as Shalia placed her in a car and left the house behind almost in a cloud of dust. Tana sobbed and cried for her dad until Shalia finally pulled to the side of the road. Shalia broke down and sobbed too. She unbuckled Tana and just held her close. The image faded and I could feel Tana’s and Orien’s heads resting against me. I could hear groans as we all woke up. I wanted to pull Tana into my arms, but Robyn has a hold of Tana as she is sobbing into Robyn’s arms. We adjusted ourselves until we could surround them and hold them. I angled my mouth to her neck and licked and kissed her mark. I can feel that, even though the memories were mostly happy, that last one she experienced it all over again. I could tell her heart broke to be ripped away from her dad. I let my love flow into her. I made promises in my kisses that I will get her father back for her. I want to do it for Robyn too. We held them long after Tana stopped sobbing. These women are everything to us. We will risk everything for them. They are the most precious things that exist. Tana’s stomach began to growl. We all chuckled. “Come, I made you dinner. I wanted you to be full before we waken your celestial side. You’re going to need it after what you just went through with your memories.” “Thank you for that,” Tana said low. “Anytime.” Robyn replied and kissed Tana’s forehead.
