The gun came back as one used in a number of murders over thirty years ago; the murders using those guns in the safe all stopped around the same time as the royal family went missing. What is baffling, though, is the gun might have stopped being used, but the smear on the bullets has not. They have randomly shown up at odd times over the years. There were three guns in the safe, and The king's brother's fingerprints were on each one of them. I assumed it was for putting them in the safe.
