Ethan’s POV As soon as that 1st beam of light shone down on Beth I knew she was receiving the blessing of the Moon. When other beams started shining down as well I was mesmerized by all the blessings she received from the gods. When the lightning cracked and a dagger appeared in her palm I knew it was from Ares, her long distant grandfather. As she sliced her palm I half expected her to fall to the ground writhing in pain.
