I can’t say I wasn’t a little disappointed that Kaida didn’t readily agree to move in with me, but I guess it didn’t completely surprise me either.
She then asked if she could redecorate my cave, as she calls it, and I was totally on board for that as it did look a little cave-like with its darker colours and low lighting.
I was happy to be able to tell her that Dana would be moving in with Nithe. Apparently, they had discussed it at length and she had agreed. I bet she was hoping that Kaida would also agree so she could still have her best friend around.
I liked that these two women, both of whom were seen as outcasts by the people who should have accepted and loved them, had found friendship in each other.
