I could not believe that by sheer dumb luck, I had gotten in the way of Kaida’s boyfriend and the i***t had knocked himself out. Now he was standing toe to toe with me, yelling all kinds of craziness at me.
“You don’t belong here, go back where you came from and leave me and my girlfriend in peace, you probably have a whole harem of women back home…” This was the kind of nonsense spewing from his mouth at a rapid rate.
I tried to explain to him that he had been the one who had run into me, but that seemed to add fuel to the fire. Something odd caught my attention.
The woman who refused to answer me when I asked if she was his fated was whispering things to him that even I couldn’t hear which, given my level, should have been impossible.
She had a wicked grin on her face
