DRAYCE POV Time seemed to freeze for a minute after that crystal landed on Melbourne. The room was silent. I could smell Kaida’s salty tears, but I wasn’t sure if they were happy or not. Dana asked if she was OK and it was like a fog had cleared from her mind. I registered surprise, almost as if she didn’t know she was crying. I needed to know what was going on in that head of hers.
