13 TAKING A YEAR OUT

Taking a year out in Thailand from my home city of Canterbury was due to a pretty stale life in the UK. I had packed in my career as a gamekeeper and had met a Thai nurse in a London hospital, while visiting a friends son after his operation.
I had been to Thailand previously, so had a good idea what to expect and wanted to give it a try, because on my previous visit I had felt very comfortable with the Thai folks and generally enjoyed Thailand.
So all the planning was done and here I was in Minburi about forty-five minutes outside the big smoke, after traveling to Chiang Mai and various other parts of Thailand with my Thai wife. I started to walk the area of Minburi and one day met the local headmaster of Klanglongsong School, Minburi.
