The day had moved slowly, and I missed the busy days in the emergency room in New York. Plus side though, I had finally gained the trust of some of the nurses in the emergency room and even gotten to the point of being able to talk and joke with them. I took my time writing some notes on the last patient I saw and was going to be admitting for observation when all hell broke loose. The quiet emergency room was quickly filled with several members of the Thunder Wolves MC, the same MC that Gunner was in. The first member I saw was Knuckles, Jay’s boyfriend, being brought in by one of the sheriff’s officers. They had him in cuffs as they walked him to the bed, a nurse told them to put him in. He had blood all over him and looked pissed off but wasn’t fighting the sheriff’s officer. Al
