Ember's P.O.V.
Holy f*****g s**t! We just did that. My heart raced remembering the intimate act that just occured on my bed. I brushed my hand over the mark that Toni placed on me. I could feel the bumps of his teeth mark.
My broken heart seemed to be slowly mending with Toni. I let him claim me and now I'm forever tied with him. I sat here cursing the mate bond and hating it this afternoon and yet I was quick to give in to it tonight.
There's only one person I want to talk to about this. I kicked our adjoining door open, trying to startle him. It worked because he shot out of his bed really fast. He looked at me and then around me, making sure there was no one chasing me or trying to hurt me.
"You scared the s**t out of me! What's wrong with you?" He sounded a little annoyed.
