"Lia!" I cry out when I see my daughter collapsing after Cordelia vanished. Thankfully Logan was standing behind her and was able to catch Lia before she completely fell to the ground. So instead of hitting her head on the solid floor, Lia's head falls on Logan's lap. And then Logan uses his arm to support Lia's upper body. Thanks for the boy's quick response and good reflexes; my daughter is safe.
Dylan and I rush to our unconscious daughter. Her face is as white as paper, so pale, and when I touch her forehead, her sweat is as cold as ice water. This is my nightmare since Bayron and Lia were born. That the Dark witch will find them. Does Cordelia know that my kids are the ones mentioned in the prophecy? Or was it just a mere coincidence?
