I almost laughed out loud when I saw how badly Logan was trying.
He really did because I think that was why he organized this party.
Maybe he hoped that by pressuring Kaye, she would agree to sleeping with him and that would cement his position as the alpha.
For a normal wedding of an alpha of a pack, the last activity they do at midnight before the celebrations, the alpha and the Luna who have already been bound together with his mate, is supposed to mate before everyone present.
It's safe to say that that never happened between Kaye and Logan and Logan was trying to recreate that night.
It was at midnight when the full moon was overhead and there was a very serious looking oracle before an altar that had clearly been built specifically for the occasion.
