53. Tamia's POV
Killian just stands there looking at the girl without saying anything and I just stand there looking at them.
Either the girl can't see me or she doesn't care that I walked in with the man she's eating with her eyes.
After ten seconds or so of a staring competition, I can feel Killian getting angry and I hold his hand to calm him.
I guess he hasn't been around humans a lot.
You see, unlike us wolves who wait for the goddess to assign us our mates, humans can get married to anyone as long as they fall in love and agree.
That means that each human, when they get to marriageable age, can start looking for a mate.
To them, is doesn't matter whether one is male or female when it comes to who looks for a mate. Any one of them can ask the other one.
