We all stood there thinking that we had heard Karina wrong.
I still remembered this man.
He was one of those Logan and Carter had used to torture me.
He, like the rest, had raped, beaten and overworked me.
He was also a beta, one of the warriors of the pack.
Right now, I had the power to crush him under my heel but that's not what I wanted to do.
I wanted to wait because I knew that when I exert my revenge, it would be sweeter than just killing them without them knowing who I was or why they were dying.
