CHAPTER FOUR My breathing and heartbeat were low as I neared him. He looked exactly like he did the night before, soaking wet from head to toe and with his left hand pointing toward Lake View. His body shook from head to toe and his face hung downwards. There was something so creepy about him that made my skin crawled, yet I couldn’t look away. I had to stop and pick him up. I had waited twenty-four hours just to see him again and I couldn’t back down. I summoned all my inner courage and parked the car in front of him. Against my will, I slowly turned to face him. I was a little afraid, but I wasn’t scared of him. I was actually terrified of the truth. What if he really was the Lake View Ghost? Damn Kevin and his superstitions! I gulped and rolled down my window, deciding to bury my fears
