CHAPTER NINE I heard several footsteps circling around me and felt something heavy resting on top of my chest. It was slowly starting to tamper with my breathing. Then, all of a sudden, I heard Josh and Luke screaming at Hughes and Harper. They were trying to convince them to set them free. Unexpectedly and without warning, the heavy object that was on top of me was lifted off my chest and finally, I was able to breathe properly again. My eyes felt heavy and I had trouble opening them. “Kylie!” Josh ran towards me and picked up my head, resting it on top of his legs. Slowly, I began to open my eyes. His face looked blurry at first, but soon, I was staring clearly at his worried face. “Are you okay, Kylie?” I nodded trying to sit up. “It’s okay. I don’t think you should be moving around.
