Chapter 7

After the operation Aiden came to his office, instead of taking another shift which is he prepared from the past he decided to go home to be with Amy and Sam. Devoted man siya sa trabaho ngunit mas importante na sa kanya ang anak at si Amethyst. Gusto niyang makabawi sa mag ina and that is to spend his time with them.

"I'll be going home, don't call me in the middle of the night." He said to his secretary.

Pumasok siya sa opisina upang kunin ang mga gamit matapos makapag ayos ay agad siyang lumabas at nag lakad palabas ng hospital. He took his car keys and was about to hop in the car hen someone grab his wrist.

"Aiden!"

Aiden went froze when he realize who it was.

"Tess?"

Tess smile to him."Can we talk?"

Aiden look at his wrist watch, he was about to declined her invitation but she pleaded.

"Please... It was important."

Aiden sighed sabay silang sumakay sa sasakyan at nag maneho paalis, they went to the nearest cafe. Habang nakaupo ay panay ang tingin ni Aiden sa cellphone hoping Amy would text him.

"What is it that you want to say?" He impatiently said.

"Are you that busy? Can't we just order first?"

Aiden frustratedly sighed, he called the waiter and ordered for her habang siya ay nag pakuha lang ng tubig. Tess didn't speak till the order came.

"Finish your food and let's start talking, I need to go home."

Ngumiti lang ito at nag simula ng kumain Aiden waits for her not even looking at the woman infront of her.

"Go on Tess, what do you want to say?"

"Can't we just—"

"I don't have time for this Tess!" Naiinis niyang tugon. "My family is waiting for me and if you won't tell me what you have to say then I'll take my leave."

Aiden was about to leave when Tess speak.

"Aiden may anak tayo..."

Aiden chuckled, muli niyang hinarap ang dalaga at naupo sa harap nito.

"Stop making issues Tess."

"I'm not making it up! Nabuntis mo ako Aiden, we had an unprotected s*x at alam mo iyan!"

"Shut up!" Galit na wika ni Aiden. "Stop lying Tess!"

Tess smirk, she took her phone out and showed him a picture of him and her in one bed.

"Lasing ka that time you were so heartbroken and came in my house, you f**k me! We had s*x and now you are denying it!"

Aiden felt his world collapse, tila sumakit ang ulo niya sa impornasyon na sinasabi ni Tess.

"No..."

Tess smirk. Inabot niya ang braso nito at hinimas.

"Shhh... It's okay, tanggapin ko naman ang anak mo kay Amethyst. Come to me and—"

"Shut the f**k up Tess!" Mariin niyang wika. "I will never leave Amethyst ever."

"So is it okay for her to learn about your son?" Mapang hamon niyang wika.

"Hi..."

Tila na yanig ang mundo ni Aiden ng marinig ang tinig ni Amethyst, his eye immediately darted to her.

"Oh Hi Amethyst, it's been a while."

Amethyst rolled her eyes and instructed him to move.

"What are you doing here? Tapos na ba ang shift mo?" Tanong niya sa binata.

Aiden sighed and nodded, his shivering. Halata sa kilos nito na hindi siya mapakali.

"Listen, it's not—"

"Oh no babe it's okay..." She whispered and caress his face. Her eyes darted to the woman infront of them clenching her jaws. "It's been a while Tess..."

"Yes it's been a while...." She smirk. "How have you been and your... Daughter?"

Amethyst smile, lumingon siya sa katabi at matamis na ngumiti she took Aiden's hand and intertwined it with her before looking at Tess.

"My Princes is fine... Ikaw? How have you been?"

"Aren't you gonna ask how was my baby?"

Amethyst froze but she didn't let the woman infront of her see that.

"If I want to I would ask." Sarcastic niyang wika. "May anak kana pala?"

"Of course..." Nakangising wika ni Tess habang nakating sa kanya bago bumaling kay Aiden. "Aren't you gonna ask whose the father?"

Amethyst smile sweetly nilingon niya ang katabi na tahimik at nag papawis.

"Sasabihin mo ba na si Aiden ang ama?"

Agad na nawala ang ngisi sa labi ni Tess sa kanyang sinabi.

"So? Si Aiden ba?"

"Amethyst it's not—"

"Hush Babe..." She said caressing his cheek. "I'll handle it from here."

"Oo si Aiden ang ama! And I will took my father's baby!"

"Listen here..." cold niyang wika. "Aiden is not some object that you will take just because you want to b***h. He is the father of my child, not because he impregnate you doesn't mean you have the rights to claim him. He is mine!"

Aiden was shock to hear those words from Amethyst, he didn't expect that kind of answer for the woman he once betrayed.

"So if you have a problem with that then you should face me, not my boyfriend.", Amethyst looks at Aiden and smile to him. "Let's go? May table ako don let's wait for my order before going."

Aiden nodded and stood.

"Of course...."

"Paano yung anak ko?!" Mahina pero mariing wika nito. "Aiden yung anak natin!"

"We will be conducting a paternity t st if you want." Wika ni Amethyst. " can give you ten paternity results free of charge."

Hinawakan ni Amethyst ang kamay ng binata at hinaltak ito papunta sa ibang lamesa, they sat in silence and she watch Tess walk away leaving the cafe. Tahimik silang nakaupo waiting for her order.

"Hindi ka ba galit? Won't you question me?"

Amethyst sigh and look back on him.

"Aiden matagal tayong hindi nag sama, nag kasakitan tayo. Hindi ko hawak ang buhay mo, if you got her pregnant then it's fine with me I won't be an unreasonable b***h who would throw a tantrum and make you choose between me and your child if you have one with her, that's just so stupid and low."

Aiden sighed in relief to what Amethyst just answered, but he was really certain that he didn't touch Tess eversince Amy left.

"Pumunta ka ba sa hospital?" Tanong ni Aiden na may ngiti sa labi. "What's in the paper bag?"

"Food."

"What food?"

"For you to eat."

"I thought you are not mad?"

"I'm not! I'm just irritated! Here!" She said, inabot niya ang paper bag kay Aiden. "Kumain kana and don't talk to me."

Aiden chuckled and took the paper bag, tumayo siya at umuklo upang halikan ang labi ng dalaga.

"My girlfriend is irritated..."

"What?" She scoffed. "Girlfriend? Kailan mo pa ako naging girlfriend?"

"Hindi ba? I thought you are already my girlfriend." Natatawa niyang wika. "You said that I'm your boyfriend though."

Amethyst immediately look away sakto naman na dumating na ang order niya.

"Kumain kana muna then we'll leave." Wika niya at sinimulang inumin ang kanyang order na ice tea.

"Ang ganda mo kapag nag seselos.."

Halos maibuga niya ang Ice tea na iniinom sa sinabi ng binata. She gave him a dagger look arching her brows.

"Selos?" She said laughing in and mocking tone. "Nababaliw kana."

"Yeah, I'm crazy for you...." He said giving her a wink before eating the meal Amethyst prepared for him. "Why don't we go out? I mean vacation with Samantha. I'm sure she will love it."

"It's a good Idea pero nakalimutan mo ba na nag aaral na ang anak mo? She can't skip school."

Tila natauhan naman si Aiden sa kanyang sinabi.

"Then let's go for a vacation... I'm sure Mama and Daddy would love Sam's company."

"Aiden ni hindi pa nga nila alam na—"

"Then we will let them know..."

Hindi na nakapag salita si Amethyst sa kanyang sinabi her eyes watered so she immediately look away.

"I'll just go to the restroom..."

Tumango lang si Aiden at pinag masdan ang dalaga na umalis. Amethyst watch herself on the mirror, ang puso niya ay kanina pa mabilis ang t***k dahil sa sinabing iyon ni Aiden. He is really to face anything now just for her the things she wants to do with Aiden before is now happening. Then she remembered Moon's face crossing her mind wala sa sariling napangiti siya. Ang kamay niya ay dumapo sa kanyang leeg kung saan naroon ang kuwintas na binigay ni Moon sa kanya.

"Eto ba yung sinasabi mo?"

Matapos mag ayos ng mukha ay bumalik siya sa kanilang lamesa but she frowned when she didn't see Aiden there. Dali dali siyang nag lakad pabalik sa lamesa at lumingon kung saan she immediately took her cake and leave the cafe till she saw Aiden walking towards her.

"I still remember how much you love rose.." he said smiling from ear to ear. "It was supposed to be our One decade anniversary today if I didn't leave you behind."

Hindi na niya namalayan ang pag patak ng luha, she covered her face with hand crying. Aiden smile and slowly walk towards her hugging her.

"I Love you Amethyst Montefalco..."

Amethyst sniff, nalakas niyang hinampas ang dibdib nito na ikonatawa ni Aiden.

"Ang lakas mo paring pumalo." He said laughing. "Let's go home..."

Amethyst balled her hand into fist while looking at the picture sent to her private email, it was her and Aiden kissing infront of her company a week ago with a caption of 'I know your dirty little secret' she calmed herself down, she's expecting this kind of s**t Aiden kiss her in public and that's fine does the sender think that he or she can blackmail her using this?

'Good that you know' she replied before closing her laptop. Sumandal siya sa kanyang upuan at tumingin sa kawalan, who would it be? She has a hint pero masama ang mag bintang.

"Ma'am?"

"Yes?" Wika niya. "Is there a problem?"

"No ma'am, Mr Lorenzo sent this flowers to you."

Isa pa iyan sa iniisip niya, Kiba keep on sending her gifts that she is trying to refuse but he won't stop.

"You can have it thank you." Bored niyang wika.

Agad din naman na umalis ang kanyang secretary, she took her phone and dialed Kiba's number dalawang ring lang ay sumagot na ito.

"Hello beautiful..."

"Kiba... What are you doing?"

Kiba chuckled.

"Nothing, want to go on a date?"

Agad na tumayo si Amethyst at nag lakad lakad sa loob ng opisina, she can't really guess what is going on in his mind.

"No! Kiba why are you doing this?"

Tila natahimik ang lalaki sa kabilang linya dahil sa kanyang naging tanong.

"I like you that's the reason..."

"Mr Lorenzo we just barely met, you can't—"

"You are not me Amethyst... So don't say that I can't like you just because we have met barely."

"It's just that—"

"I'll call you later." Hindi na hinintay nito ang sagot at binaba ang tawag Amethyst sighed and put her phone on the table. Masisiraan yaya siya ng bait sa mga lalaking naka paligid sa kanya, she just really want a simple life but they won't give it to her.

"Hi babe!"

Napahawak siya sa dibdib dahil sa gulat ng may mag salita sa kung saan her eyes darted to Aiden whose holding Samantha in his arm.

"Hi Momma!"

Malapad ang kanyang ngiti at nilapitan ang dalawa, she kiss Sam's cheek and smile.

"What are you guy's doing here?"

Sam and Aiden look at each other before giggling.

"Daddy said that we will have a family date today! Are you busy Momma?"

"Kahit busy ako I'll make time for my Princess.", She said pinching her nose. "At saan niyo naman balak mag date?"

"I'll handle that babe don't worry."

Amethyst rolled her eyes pasimple niyang kinurot si Aiden sa tagiliran.

"Why do you keep calling me that?!'

"Ayaw mo ba? Okay wifey let's go."

Amethyst face flushed mag rereklamo pa sana siya ng muling mag salita si Samantha.

"Let's go na Momma? I'm so excited!!"

Amethyst sigh and nodded kinuha niya lang ang pouch, sabay sabay silang nag lakad palabas ng opisina, her heart pounded when Aiden intertwined their hands looking like a perfect family. Alam man ng pamilya nila ang naging relasyon nila pero hindi ng mundo. Hindi nila alam kung kailan sila huhusgahan pero kung sila lang ay ayos lang, but Sam she's too young to understand. Amethyst shook that thought off ayaw niyang masira ang mood nila.
