Chapter 11

Hinilot ni Amethyst ang sumasakit na sintido dahil sa laman ng balita ngayon, sila kang naman ni Aiden ang talk of the town dahil sa lumabas nilang larawan. Hindi siya makatingin sa amang nakaupo sa kanilang harapan, he looks calm but Amethyst knew what his father was thinking.

"Dad I'm—"

"Silence..." Malumanay ngunit madiin nitong tugon. Amethyst immediately shut her mouth naramdaman niya ang pag hawak ni Aiden sa kanyang kamay.

Keana was contemplating whether she would speak or not, seryoso kasi ang asawa niya. Hindi niya mabasa ang iniisip nito, she knows how much Eros loves their kids kaya't sigurado siya na bothered ang asawa sa balitang lumabas, the news were turned down ngunit marami na ang naabot nito.

"Let them explain Eros..." Mahinahong wika ni Keana.

Eros sighed, tumingin siya sa asawa na nakatingin din pala siya he wants to believe that Keana doesn't know anything ngunit sa tono nito ay malamang na may alam ang asawa.

"I want to believe that you don't know anything about this." Ye said in a very calm tone.

Keana sighed.

"Then believe whatever you want to believe."

Frustrated na napahilamos sa mukha si Eros, nagagalit siya. He can't control his temper but when it comes to his wife he was like a f*****g puppy ready to obey his owner.

"You should have told me!"

"Dad wala naman pong alam si Mama dito." Depensa ni Amethyst.

"Are you shouting at me?" Nakataas kilay ni wika ni Keana. "If I know I would tell you, I'm their mother nararamdaman ko na may namamagitan na but I won't conclude something. I will wait for them to come and tell us the truth."

"Ayun na nga baby, they didn't! Nalaman na lang natin sa news first thing in the morning!" Mataas na boses na wika ni Eros. "I'm not saying that I'm against to them, I'm just saying that they should have informed us first!"

"Did we inform our parents back then? No! Because we are scared! That's not a big deal anymore, my child's happiness will always comes first!"

"I'm not saying that I don't want their happiness, I'm just saying that they should have informed us about it!"

Keana's eyes watered hindi niya inaakala na sisigawan siya ng asawa, tila natauhan si Eros sa nagawa he sighed and stood up lumapit siya sa tabi ng asawa at naupo.

"I'm sorry, I'm just trying to protect both of them. I don't want to see either one of them in pain, alam mo naman kung gaano ko kamahal ang mga anak natin."

Keana sniff and nodded, alam niya. Alam na alam niya, Eros is the definition of a perfect father but no one is perfect but his trying his best to fullfil his duty to thier kids and that is more than enough already.

"I'm sorry too, I just want kids our to be happy alam mo naman ang pinag daanan ng dalawang yan."

Amethyst look away, looking back at their path they sure crossed much more pain. Pero nandito na sila, kailangan pa ha nilang mag tago? She wants to give Sam everything and she also want to be with someone who will be their till the day she die and that someone is Aiden.

"Hindi na kami mag tatago Daddy...." Matapang na wika ni Aiden hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Amethyst at ngumiti her heart flutter to what he just said different from the Aiden she love from the past.

Handa na itong ipaglaban ang pamilya na bubuuin nilang dalawa Aiden is now a man who can fight for her and that's more than enough to give him his heart.

"We have been in so much pain, I broke Amethyst once because of my stupid decisions, lumaki ang anak ko ng walang ama dahil duwag ako I've been an asshole all of my life trying to be the perfect son and perfect man for everyone and trying that hard made me lose something I treasured the most and that is my family, that is Sam and Amethyst..."

Amethyst eyes watered, hindi niya alam ang dapat sabihin dati ay pangarap niya lang ito. She loves Aiden so much that she get tired of loving him because of the he implicated.

"I love you guy's so much that I hurt the woman I love the most, I don't want to disappoint any of you. Kayo lang ang meron ako, kayo ang tumayong magulang ko. Is it bad to protect what I treasured? It is. Masama dahil nakasakit ako ng iba, I was so scared to disappoint you I want to be a perfect son for you because you are all I have. Pero di ko na kayang maging duwag, I can't hurt Amethyst anymore she wants me to fight for our love and I refuse back then. But now? I'm willing, I'm willing to lose everything I have just to be with her and I'm sorry Mama, Daddy. I'm sorry that I loved my sister, I'm sorry to disappoint you I'm sorry for making things difficult for the both of you but I'm willing to take risk and show the world how much I love this woman..."

Walang tigil ang pag tulo ng luha mula sa mga mata ni Amethyst habang nakatingin sa binata, her heart is beating so fast hearing those words to him. Ang kasiyahan niya ay nag uumapaw mahigpit na hinawakan ni Aiden ang kanyang kamay and was shock to see him shedding tears infront of their parents.

"I'm grateful that you love me like your own kid kahit na napaka sama ng ina ko. She ruined your life yet you choose to love her son thank you..."

Keana wipe her tears away, tumayo ito at naupo sa tabi ni Aiden niyakap niya ang anak. She's tapping his back calming down.

"You were always be son no matter what happened, if you love my daughter then love her."

Aiden nodded, he wipe his tears away.

"I want to marry Amethyst..."

Amethyst jaw drop, agad niyang tinignan ang binata as much as it hurt Amethyst know that it won't be possible. Aiden might be her adoptive brother but the law forbid marriage in their case.

"I know..." Keana said tapping his hand. "But it will be very hard, can you accept the consequences? Can you protect my daughter and my granddaughter?"

Aiden nodded.

Keana looks at Eros and smile.

"Wait for me here." Wika ni Keana at tumayo Eros accompanied his wife leaving them alone.

"You know that it's impossible right?" Wika ni Amethyst. "You know the law."

Aiden nodded, hinarap niya ang dalaga at hinaplos ang kanyang mukha alam niya na hindi ito ang buhay na pinangarap ni Amethyst.

"Kung hindi puwede dito then we will find a country who will allow us... I want to fulfil your dream wedding, the life you want."

Amethyst sniff.

"Mahihirapan tayo..." Bulong niya "puwede namang hindi tayo mag pakasal, let's just stay with each other. Hindi naman iba yon it was just the same."

Alam niya na kahit sinasabi iyon ng dalaga ay masakit para sa kanya ang hindi maikasal, every woman's dream is to walk down the aisle and be married to the man they want and he know that it would hurt Amethyst so his willing to take risk and find a way for them.

"No, We will figured everything out, I will find a way."

Marahan niyang pinunasan ang luha sa pisngi ng dalaga. He place his lips on her trembling hand and promise himself not to let go of her again.

"Let's face this together okay?"

Amethyst chuckled and nodded, dati kasi ay siya lang ang lumalaban but Aiden being by her side now makes her more relief. Agad silang umayos ng upo nang bumalik ang kanilang mga magulang Keana and Eros sat infront of them holding an envelope in his hand.

"Here..." Wika ni Eros.

Agad na nag katinginan ang dalawa Aiden took the envelope and look at his parents with a questioning look.

"Open it."

Aiden nodded and slowly opened the envelope his eyes widened in shock when he saw what is inside.

Mag kaharap si Aiden at Tess sa loob ng isang resto bitbit ni Tess ang kanyang anak na pinipilit nito sa kanya. He cleared his throat before speaking.

"We will do a test to know if the kid is mine."

Tila nag bago naman ang expression ng mukha ni Tess sa kanyang sinabi from a smirking one to indignant. Mahigpit niyang hinawakan ang table napkin habang nakatingin sa binata Aiden asked her to come, she thought that he will finally accept his faith but she's wrong. Then the door opened mas lalong nang galaiti ang kanyang mukha ng pumasok si Amethyst sa pinto.

"Hi babe!" She said smiling from ear to ear dinampian pa niya ng halik si Aiden sa labi. "Kanina ka pa?"

Aiden smile, umiling ito at tumayo upang ipag hila siya ng silya. Amethyst sat beside him facing Tess.

"She is not supposed to be here!" Mariing wika ni Tess.

"Why not? I'm his girlfriend and the mother of his daughter."

"This matter is between me and Aiden! Ang anak namin ang nakasalalay dito."

Amethyst laughed mockingly.

"I don't want to ruin your delusions but I won't sit at home while you are trying to wreck my family, Aiden is the father of my child. I am his girlfriend, and me being the mother of his child gave me the right to be here and protect what is our and that is Aiden."

"I won't allow you to do the test with my child! No! Anak mo si Kiko Aiden why can't you see that."

Aiden sighed.

"I won't acknowledge the kid as mine if we don't have any proof, Tess don't ruin your son's life for your own sake. You know that your son is mot mine stop using him for your sake."

"No! Kiko is your son! Dapat andito ka samin, bakit ba paulit ulit mong pinipili yang babae na yan! She left you remember!"

"I left her once, and I'm not leaving her twice. Amethyst and Samantha is my everything and I will protect them with all I have. I will protect my family even if it's you, kung ayaw mong ipa test ang bata then it's over I won't take any responsibility to that kid."

Nanginginig sa galit ang mga mata ni Test habang nakatingin sa kanila, as if she can kill them with her looks.

"Kung wala ka nang sasabihin I think we should take our leave, hinihintay na kami ng anak namin." Wika ni Amethyst emphasizing the word 'anak' for her if she has to be a b***h then so be it. Hindi siya mag babait baitan sa taong gustong sumira sa pamilyang binubuo niya. She's a b***h and she will always be if someone tried to wreck or harm her family.

Sabay silang tumayo ni Aiden they left the restaurant and Tess, nag lakad silang sabay patungong sa sakyan.

"Ihatid mo muna ako sa office babe, I'll just finish something." Wika ni Amethyst.

"Why aren't you bothered about Tess?" Wika ni Aiden.

Amethyst sighed she is but she won't show it to that cunning woman. Ayaw na din niyang dagdagan pa ang iniisip ni Aiden.

"It's fine I can handle her don't worry."

Aiden nodded, nag maneho na ito pa tungo sa kanyang opisina but was shock to see reporters infront of her company.

"What the hell!" Mariing wika ni Aiden. Mag mamaneho na sana ito palayo ng pigilan siya ni Amethyst. "What are you doing?"

Amethyst smile to him.

"Let's face this together." Wika niya. "They won't stop, not until they get what they went."

Aiden sighed, nauna itong bumaba sa sasakyan at pumunta sa kanyang side upang pag buksan siya ng pinto. Nang makita ng mga reporters ay mga nag mamadali itong tumungo sa kanilang puwesto.

"Mr and Ms Montefalco totoo ba ang balitang may relasyon kayo?"

"Mag kapatid kayo, ngunit pumasok kayo sa isang relasyon ano ang magiging pahayag niyo dito?"

"Hindi ba kayo natatakot sa sasabihin ng tao? Kilala kayong personalidad ang pamilya niyo ay isa sa mga pinakamayan sa bansa hindi ba kayo natatakot na masira ang image niyo?"

"Ms Montefalco totoo ba na ikaw ang lumandi sa adoptive brother niyo dahilan upang mag hiwalay sila ng dati niyang kasintahan? Balita din na may anak na ang dalawa."

"Don't talk to her like that!" Galit na wika ni Aiden. "I don't have a kid with any woman out their! Sa iisang babae lang ako nag kaanak!"

Muling umugong ang paligid the flashes of the camera is blinding them but Amethyst was so calmed.

"Nasaan ang anak niyo? Balak niyo ba na itago ang anak niyo? Sino ang ina ng bata?"

"Ako..." Amethyst said that made everyone gasped. "I am the mother of his child, there is nothing wrong with our relationship since we are not biologically siblings."

"Ngunit adopted ang kapatid mo at aprubado ito sa korte, what you are doing is forbidden pleasure and that is not acceptable in our society, what can you say about it."

"Forbidden? How come?" Amethyst said smirking. "Aiden is not legally adopted we had the papers to prove it. Your imputation are all false and biased, Aiden is not my brother he was not registered as a Montefalco so stop questioning our relationship."
