Current Age Neilson: 20 years old Alice: 12 years old *** Neilson’s POV: I laid my head back, resting it on the chair. Rolling down the window, I inhale the fresh-ish scent of California. The sun shines brightly on my eyes as I stare at the passing houses. There’s an anxious feeling inside the pit of my stomach. “Stop smiling, you’re f*****g creeping everyone out,” Marvin said, rolling his eyes. I flip him the bird. “He is just excited to see his Angel again after three months away,” Drew mocked me. I poke his eye, “Ow! You b***h!” He covers his sore eye. He shot me a glare. “Oh, you want to play, huh.” He takes out his gun. “f**k yeah, bring it!” I reach for my gun inside the pocket of the chair. “Hey! You both put your damn guns away!” Anthony shouts. “You have to stop f*****g shot each other every time you pissed each other off! I’m sick of paying the hospital bills!” We shot each other another glare and threw our guns into the back pocket. He points two fingers towards his eyes than to mine. Slowly, I move up my middle finger until - “Put that f*****g finger down unless you want me to chop it off.” Anthony threatens, eyes glaring in the rearview mirror. I lower my hand. Drew smirks. “Wipe that smirk off your face Drew,” Anthony command. How the f**k does he do that? Marvin parks the car, and I practically throw myself out. There is too much testosterone in there for me to handle, and it’s starting to sicken me. My eyes lurk around, snapping towards a particular house, and she jumps down. She is so cute when she is trying to be stealth. She isn’t stealth at all, because I can still see the top of her head. Leaning against the car, I wave some air into my face, feeling the California sun hitting, hard. My eyes peek towards her house once in a while, wondering when she will come out and greet me. It’s weird; she usually comes out by now. “You know you can always go over there,” Marvin whispered into my ear. I shudder, “Don’t ever f*****g do that creepy sh-” I stop talking when I notice his eyes were behind me. He chuckles, “Woah, little Alice grew into big Alice.” He sips on his can of soda that momma brought us earlier. Turning around, my mouth dropped on the ground. I shut my mouth, and thank God I’m leaning against the car, or I may fall to the ground. What the f**k is she wearing? And what the f**k are those things on her chest? Alice is wearing a pair of black tight shorts that are way too short and a tight blue sports bra with these things poking out of her chest. She pulls her arms in the air, stretching her muscle, releasing a low grunting sound. Her eyes met mine, and I think my heart stops beating, seeing her smile. She waves at me. “Muffin!” she shouted and ran towards me. Instantly, she slams her body against mine, and I feel those two things against my chest. My hands were in the air, not knowing what to do with them. She unwraps her hands around my waist and holds mine. “How was Italy?” Neilson, her face is not down there. “Good,” I reply. Marvin somehow thought it’s funny to intervene. “So, Alice, anything new with you?” he snickers. I want to kick him, but I don’t want to behave violently in front of Alice. She shakes her head, places her hands behind her back, twisting her body, and that thing jiggles. “No, nothing.” He went closer and tugged a brow, “Are you sure nothing grew, maybe your bre-” Anthony did me a huge favor and smacked his head. Alice stands there, tilting her head.” Um, alright,” she replies. Alice probably doesn’t know what we are talking about. She shouldn’t. “Pancakes! Let’s go!” I hear a voice shout and look behind Alice to see Nina. There were also two things hanging on her chest. What the f**k happened while I was gone for three months?!?! “Hi, guys!” Nina screams and they all greet her. “Come on!” She waves at Alice. “Coming!” Alice turns to me. “We should hang out later.” She smiles, and I merely nod in return. I stand here watching her jog towards Nina. They were talking about something, then Nina hit her head and ran away. “Yo, stop checking out her ass. She is only twelve.” This time, it’s my turn to hit his head. Afterward, we went to our usual hang out spot in the town’s wrong place where Anthony owns a few of the houses. I laid my body against the couch and shut my eyes. “What the f**k!” I shout. The video game sound in the background stops playing. My eyes open, meeting stupid grey ones. “What the f**k is up with you?” Marvin asks. I sat up straighter, clutching my hands together. “Alice! There are these things on her chest! They were never there, and now they are.” Marvin brows scrunch together. “You mean her breasts?” I place a finger on his lips. “Shhhh. Those aren’t it.” He slaps my hand away. “Those are her boobs, say it with me, Neilson. Alice. have. boobs.” He said, slowly throwing his legs on the table. “For f**k sake, you’re acting like a teenage boy.” I feel someone sitting next to me and turn to see Misha twisting her blonde hair, pouting her pink lips. “Who is acting like a teenage boy?” She asks, placing her hand on my lap, head on my shoulder. She isn’t my girlfriend, just f**k buddy, but sometimes I feel like she thinks I am her boyfriend. Whatever, not like I have a girlfriend right now. Marvin opens his mouth but shuts it, narrowing his eyes behind me. Turning around, I saw Anthony walking in, holding a little girl’s hand. Pink dress and teddy bear. Her tiny body trembles, scanning every inch of the area. Did Anthony kidnap a child while I wasn’t looking? When I hear a buzz on my phone, I slide on it, seeing Alice sending me a photo of her sweaty self after she finishes running. “What was that?” Misha asks, and I click my phone off. “Nothing. Nothing,” except my card to jail, and I’m not talking about all the illegal things I did so far. Exhaling a deep breath, I grab a box of cigarettes, taking one out, and lifting it between my fingers, emitting some smoke. Usually, I don’t smoke, but I damn need one right now. I ran my fingers through my hair, wondering how I would deal with this boob, no that sounds wrong. Tit tit no, that sounds wrong too. Chi chi situation, yeah, that sounds right. The little girl’s eyes drop on mine, and I lift a brow at her. Anthony lifted her and put her on the table. We all stare at him as he walks towards the fridge and takes some cold pizza, warming it in the microwave. “Who is the girl?” Marvin whispers, and I shrug. Walking towards a cabinet, he pulls out a first aid kit and starts treating her. Her cheeks turn pink, and I pray for the little girl. She needs better taste in men. “Dude, I think he should stop. The pedophile position belongs to you.” I punch Marvin’s stomach. I am no damn pedophile. Turning our attention back towards him, he taps his foot, waiting for the pizza to finish warming up. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a stick of gum and threw it in his mouth. He tilted his head and smiled at her. Everyone in the room became stunned, including me. He f*****g actually smile. Anthony doesn’t smile! First, Alice has these Chi Chi. Now, Anthony is smiling? I need to purchase a lottery ticket. No, I need to go to the hospital, maybe the last mission f****d up my mind, and everything is not real. Yeah, that sounds right. This is all inside my head. “Kid, I’m too old for you,” he teases her, causing everyone to laugh. She sat there, clutching her teddy bear tighter, as her cheeks turned redder with embarrassment. Drew sat on the couch, and I nudged him. “Who is the kid?” “Angelica Evans, the kid is lost.” He places the warm pizza in front of her as she sits there, staring at the smoke. I finish my cigarette and push it down on the tray, putting out the fire. “Aren’t you going to eat it, Angel?” I hear him say. Do I sound that cringe when I call Alice Angel? “Mommy and Daddy said pizza is bad for me,” she whispers, looking as if she will cry any second. “It’s just one slice. You will be fine,” he said while stroking her cheek. I wonder if I look creepy like that when I do that to Alice. No, I’m not creepy. When I do it, it’s brotherly love, yeah, that’s it. She nuzzles deeper into his hand, and I glance at Marvin, who looks back. “This may be trouble,” he mumbles. We cannot have our leader walk down this path. “They say one slice leads to two slices and before I know it. I’ll be addicted to pizza,” she responds. “Just one slice Angel. I won’t tell your parents.” “Promise?” she squeaks. He places his forehead on hers. “Promise.” “Oh, my God.” Drew released a breath. “Are you f*****g shitting me?” He throws both arms in the air, turning around. She smiles and takes a bite, eyes widening. Before we know it, she keeps eating. How the f**k does she and Alice eat so damn much? Misha walked towards her and led her to the bathroom to wash up. Drew heads to Anthony, who’s staring at the little girl. He snaps his fingers in front of Anthony’s face. “What?” “She is...You can’t...No!" Anthony smacked his wiggling finger away. “I’m just trying to help her find her family,” he responds, unable to stop the eye roll. “Why the f**k are the two of you here?” he growls at the two men walking in. They work for Anthony’s mother. “Your mother would like to meet with you,” one of them said, and I leaned back watching the show. “Tell her to f**k herself,” he spat back. “Master Anthony, we have a message for you.” “What?” One of them clears his throat: “Enough playing around; I need you to start taking the family business seriously.” Anthony ran his fingers through his hair, face redden with anger. Lately, his mother has been bothering him to take over as the Italian Mafia business s**t, and he doesn’t want to do it. That’s all. He doesn’t want to do it. “Get the f**k out!” They bow and walk out. I notice Angelica running towards him. Instantly, he kneels, and she runs in for a hug. Huh, who knew Anthony knows how to hug. He hugs and smiles today, and I wonder if money will grow on trees. She muffles something, and he looks happy. She sat down on the couch, and everyone started questioning her. My phone rings, seeing Misha shooting me a suspicious look, and I take it outside. “Hey there, Angel.” “Muffin, when are you going to come back?” Her sweet voice rings inside my ear. And bang, those chi chi pop up out of nowhere. I ran my fingers through my hair. “I think I’m going to go home late. I am going to hang out with my friends a bit longer.” There’s silence on the other side of the phone, and this uncomfortable knot occurred inside my stomach. It always appears whenever I feel that Alice is unhappy, and right now, she isn’t happy. “Okay.” Her voice dripped with disappointment. “Bye.” Before I can respond, she ends our call. I know I’m going to get that cute pouty lips for the next few days. I stand there, staring at my screen. It’s a picture of when Alice and I went to the zoo. I won her a giant wolf, and she smiles the whole day, hugging it. It’s a picture of Alice kissing my cheek after I earned her the wolf, and momma caught the photo. I walk, more like drag my legs, back inside, taking a seat beside Angelica since it’s the only empty seat. Her eyes went down towards my screen. “Who is she?” She points at the phone screen while hiding behind Anthony. I look at the screen and chuckle to myself. “My Angel.” Everyone rolls their eyes, knowing exactly who I mean except Misha, who’s still glaring at me. They resume asking her questions, and soon she falls asleep while Anthony rubs her back. While she’s sleeping, we wait for the police. We aren’t doing anything illegal right now, so we should be in the clear. “Can we talk?” Misha asked me, and everyone let out an: “Ohhhh.” “Uh sure,” I stand up, walking into an empty room with her. She pushes me down the bed. “What the f**k,” I mumble as she unbuttons me, zipping down my zipper. “Let’s f**k,” she said. She took off her shirt, revealing her sweet C cup. I shrug, “Sure.” I mean, a hot girl is sitting on top of me, and I’m not in a relationship, so why not. Thrusting inside of Misha, I push her head down on the bed, my pants around my thighs, hearing her moans. I’m pretty sure everyone outside knows what we are doing, but who cares, they know we are f**k buddies. I shut my eyes feeling the pleasant sensation and suddenly, like a f*****g hard brick Alice face pop out of nowhere, and I stop. “W-What’s wrong?” Misha’s breathing is hard. “N-Nothing,” I replied, pushing her face back into the bed and continuing my motion. I grab her hair, pulling it lightly, hearing her releasing a loud moan of pleasure. “Neilson!” she shouts my name, but for some reason, it feels wrong. It always feels wrong when the girls scream my name, so I push her head farther down to shut her up. “Damn it,” I hissed. I pulled out and threw away the condom. She turned towards me. “Something wrong?” I pull up my pants, “I just...you...nothing,” I said, and head towards the bathroom. Sitting on the ground, I stare at my bulge, wondering what the f**k is wrong with me! Running my fingers through my hair, I hit my head back on the cabinet. My phone buzzed. “What?” I scowl. “Um, I-I just w-want to apologize for hanging up earlier.” She sounds like she wants to cry. “Oh! No! I’m sorry, Alice! I didn’t mean to yell,” I reassure her. She takes a sniff, and I pray she isn’t crying. “Are you okay?” she whispers. I sat on the bathroom tiles, leaning back against the cabinets, and continued talking to her. I can hear her laughing on the other side of the phone. Everything always feels better when I speak to Alice. Sometimes, I wonder, maybe if we were the same age - No! Big brother Neilson! Big brother! I hear police sirens, but ignore it and continue talking to Alice.” Um, I was thinking of going home early today.” I scratch the back of my neck. “What about your friends?” she asks. I can hear a pen clicking in the background. “I spend enough time with them,” I reply, “Want to go to the park?” “Yes,” she responds slowly. I couldn’t help but chuckle, “I’ll see you then, Angel.” “Bye, Muffin.” I stand up and button my pants. I looked in the mirror to make sure Misha didn’t leave any marks. I grab the shirt from the floor and wear it, scanning my body one more time just in case. When I walk out, nearly everyone is gone. “You’re still here? I thought you left hours ago!” Marvin said, shoving some pizza into his mouth. “About to leave,” I whistle out, grabbing my keys. “Misha left a while ago,” Drew unnecessarily stated. “Oh, okay,” I responded. “Meeting that little girl?” he asks. “None of your business,” I practically sang. Hopping inside my car, I drive home. When I reach her house, I knock on the door. It opens, revealing Mr. Lee, who smiles at me, and I can smell the alcohol radiating off his body. “How can I help you, Neilson?” he chirped. “Alice and I were supposed to go to the park today?” I respond, tilting my head to the side to see if she is in there. I saw someone, probably Alice, poke her head out, and I can see her hair is a mess, but she quickly hides. He shakes his head, a flat line on his lips. “Sorry, Neilson, maybe another day, Alice is in trouble right now.” My brows furrow together. “Trouble? What did she do?” “She didn’t do her chores, so she isn’t allowed to go out,” he responds. I can hear a short whimpering coming from the stairs. I tilt my head again to see if it’s Alice, but Mr.Lee is blocking my way. “Maybe, you can go to the park with her next time.” He smiles again and slams the door on my face. I didn’t know what to do except go back home. I throw my stuff on the bed and open my curtains to see Alice’s curtains. Grabbing my phone, I called her a few times, but she didn’t pick up. Throwing myself on the bed, I stare at the ceiling. Maybe, I should’ve hung out with her this morning instead of going into hiding — my phone buzzed. Angel ♡ : I’m sorry, we couldn’t go to the park together. I forgot to do my chores, maybe next time. Muffin ♡ : How come you didn’t pick up my phone calls earlier? I sat there, staring at the phone until there’s a response. I stare at the clock, and it changes one minute after another. Finally, after fifteen minutes, she replies. Angel ♡ : I was busy doing my chores.
