VIOLET'S AFFAIR (TEEN FICTION)

CHAPTER 5

“Come on, have a seat, let me tell you how it happened,” Chloe had a story to tell.

“How is this even possible?” Violet didn’t understand how it happened.

She had already read the note. Noah had left his contacts asking for her to call him.

“Who is Noah?” Violet didn’t understand. Everything didn’t make sense.

“Well, Noah is the guy that you were talking too before mum called you,” Chloe gave her a heads up.

“Really?” Violet was finding his hard to believe. She had wished to talk to the guy and right now she is able to. I mean, it can be hard to believe.

“When mum called and you come to us, remember I remained behind tying my shoe lace after you all got to the car. Well, that is when he handed me a note on my hand and from the way he dressed, I recognized him as the guy you were talking to. You know mum, she would have even torn the paper if I would have given you the note in the car. That is why I am giving it to you right now,” Chloe explained and that made perfect sense.

“I still can’t believe this,” Violet was happy as if she had just uncovered the most priceless gem in the whole damn galaxy.

Chloe pinched her and she jumped a little.

“This is happening, call the guy, I will be out with my friends,” Chloe excused herself leaving Violet with the note and her phone.

This is Violet’s first time calling a guy and she was so nervous. What if he had been hired by someone at Liberty to bully her here in Malibu? Violet had, had too much with bullying and she was tired. She just hoped that this Noah guy is a good person, one of the few good people left in this planet.

“Noah,” His name left Violets mouth in a small soft whisper.

“Yes, please tell me you are the girl from the airport today,” Noah crossed his fingers and hoped so.

“Yes, I am. My name is Violet.” Violet told him her name.

“That is a sweet name Violet, you know me already. My name is Noah,” Noah re-introduced himself.

“So, what did you want to tell me?” Violet finally had that ample time to ask that question.

“I have to talk to you about something,” Noah hit the nail on the head.

“What do you want us to talk about?” Violet was so curious and she wanted to know.

“I don’t want us to talk through phone. I want us to talk in person, when I am looking into your beautiful eyes,” Noah confessed and this made Violet’s heart pump twice the normal speed.

Does this mean that her eyes are beautiful? No one has ever told her that before.

“Baby, will you come and see me at the beach in ten minutes?” Did he just call her baby? Violet couldn’t take it anymore.

She could feel some huge amount of heat skidding through her system after he referred her as baby. Does this mean that she has finally met someone who is honestly very kind?

This is hard to believe.

“Will you come?” Noah wished that she could say yes.

“I don’t know,” Violet’s heart was still ramming hard on her chest threatening to rip off her ribs.

“I don’t know, it is my first day here and I don’t want to make my aunty angry,” Violet confessed.

“Come on Violet, I know you want to come. “ Noah hinted.

“Do you think that I am desperate? I am not those w***e type of girls, okay? I am here with my aunt and the last thig I want is to annoy her. Besides, you are the type of men she warned me about. If you may excuse me, I will hung up right now,” Violet said in an angry tone before she hang up on him.

She was all sweaty and she didn’t know what to do next. Things are happening so fast. How is she supposed to decide on something as serious as this?

She might want to go. Maybe she should t just go. Adulting is harder than she thought.

She was still sitting on the fence with this decision when her phone rang scaring her off once again. Noah was the one calking and she did not know if she should talk to him or not.

After back and forth on that one, she finally decided to pick up the call.

“Leave me alone Noah,” Violet was defensive. The world had taught her to be this defensive and that is why she is acting the way she is right now.

“I am not going to leave you alone Violet. I have never felt with someone else what I felt when I first saw you. I have never chased after girls but you are an exception. I am drawn to you like a moth to a flame. Each time I think about you, I get excited and happy. I need to at least get to know you Violet, please don’t push me away,” Noah begged and this sent ripples in Violet’s heart.

She had never also felt this way about a person. Noah was so handsome and she likes him. She also has never met someone who was nice to her and did not have the intention of hurting her. This is new and strange and she liked the fact that she has met someone like Noah in her life.

“What do you say, will you meet me at the beach in twenty?” Noah was not going to give up on this, was he?

“I don’t know,” Violet didn’t know if this is right or wrong. Her heart told her to go but her mind told her otherwise. She was caught between this two options.

“Come on Violet, let us explore the beach together, let me be your friend this summer,” Noah begged her and Violet decided to free up herself. She is going to do this, she is going to make a friend for the first time in her life and no one should stop her.

“I guess I am in,” Violet chuckled and Noah was so excited.

In twenty, Violet was already at the beach looking around for Noah. Ten more minutes passed and she thought that she was stood up till he hugged her from behind.

“You scared me Noah,” Violet squeaked.

“I thought you would never come. I am happy that you are here with me,” Noah said and Violet thought it was all a dream.

I mean, who in this world would think that someone would ever find her attractive.

“I am happy that you also come,” Violet was grateful that she was not stood up.

In the walk to the beach, Violet got to know more about Noah. He was a nice guy with a good laugh and he was also hilarious.

Violet kept laughing at his jokes and she had never been this happier.

“I am happy that I come,” Violet told Noah after he walked her home.

“Me too, when am I going to see you again?” Noah implored.

“I don’t know,”

“Come on, I want to see you again,” Noah said this and held her hands tightly. Violet didn’t know what to say, she stood still as Noah gave her a peck on the cheeks making her shiver in excitement.
