I’ve just left my last class for today and I’m walking by myself on the hallway headed towards my room. I was just with Linda in class but then after class, she went off with her weredragon friends to prepare for their House meeting or something.
Reaching the door to my room, I gently place my keycard onto the lock. The light goes green and then the door makes a clicking sound as it opens.
I walk into the room and the first thing that I land my eyes on is the letter. It’s lying on my bed, right where I placed it after picking it up from Miss Dowling’s office earlier.
I close the door behind me and then take off my shoes. I glance once at that letter and then I turn and sit onto the comfy couch here inside our room, staring at the letter from a distance.
