Melissa came down from the taxi. Her face was pretty but cold. She stepped on the red carpet and went straight to the stage in the middle of the banquet hall.
She stumped there, dragging her feet.
"Meli, why are you alone? Where is Murray? Isn't he with you?" Marc immediately stood up and walked to Melissa.
"He won't be here," Melissa replied with a poker face.
"What?" Marc was shocked.
What did Melissa mean by this?
Why wouldn't Murray come?
What happened to him?
Marc still wanted to ask Melissa what was going on. However, Melissa directly passed him and walked forward with a determined gaze.
Everyone present felt that something was wrong with Melissa. They could not help but whisper to each other.

"Why is the bride alone? Where's Mr. Gibson?"
