Vivian's heart was beating wildly. Realizing it, she subconsciously pushed Arno away.

She covered her lips. Her ears turned red because of her shyness.
However, Vivian's action made Arno feel that she was still rejecting him. He thought what she said was probably a lie. Suddenly, he felt lonely again.
"You gave me a fright."
Vivian looked down at the edge of the bed. She wanted to reach out to tuck Arno in, but she heard a voice coming from above.
"You can go."
Arno took a deep breath, trying to keep his voice steady.
