Aaron keeps a firm hand on Jimmy’s back, guiding him towards the door, but shouldn’t they let Pam know where they’re going? When he asks Aaron, it earns him a quick laugh. “I’m sure she doesn’t even care,” Aaron says. “Besides, it’s not like we’re running away. We’re all staying at the same hotel. She’ll find us if she needs to.” “How are we going to get back though?” Jimmy wants to know. Aaron pulls him into a one-armed hug. “We’re in New York. We’ll get a cab.” Where Jimmy’s from, “getting a cab” means calling a taxi company for a lift and waiting for the driver to arrive. In New York, though, all they have to do is linger on the curb out in front of the book
