KATE A week had passed since I moved into the Packhouse, and in that space, I had kind of settled into a routine. I’ll be honest, the past week hadn’t been easy at all, but I was getting the hang of it—slowly. Every morning, I would wake up at dawn, have a quick bath and about an hour to myself, and then I’d head to the Luna’s quarters to assist her with whatever tasks she needed to be done for the day. A typical day involved reviewing her daily itinerary and prioritizing the ones that were most important over the mundane, and then I’d go through the pack correspondence, focusing on those that needed her utmost attention.
