The guys finished up with cleanup. Making sure that nothing that has happened could connect back to me. With specific instructions, they made Hint's death look like a hit-and-run. I left instructions with Speed and Strange, to get Harry and Han Chan assassinated.
Since the only person I came with is Kelvin, we finished up packing and went to the hangar. And, left for Seattle. I sat on the chair with a table in the middle, so I could work with my laptop. Kelvin sat opposite me watching the weather report on the flat screen. While we were still on the flight, Aiden calls.
“Aiden?”
“Young Lord,” he sounded like something was wrong. “She's gone.”
Rubbing my temple, “Aiden, you need to be more specific than that.”
“Ava.”
“What do you mean she's gone? How is she gone?” My fist balled up.
