As Eros, Elena and I are sitting in a cabin by ourselves, I can’t stop thinking about how angry Silver was with me, when I told him we are going to Gunguru. “Arya, please quit torturing yourself even more. It’s not your fault that Silver is acting like this,” Eros wakes me up from my thoughts, making me flinch in surprise.
I turn to him slowly. “How can I not? Silver is my bonded, just like you are, and it hurts me to see you hate each other so much,” I respond, disappointed with how both of them behaved back at the island. They were both inside my head at once, reading everything going on in my mind, which means they also heard each other’s thoughts. That’s how they managed to communicate without my help for the first time, and it went disastrously.
