The alphas held in their hands the folders with my presentation. While many were whispering, others were flipping through the folder and muttering to themselves.
Their reactions were indifferent, as if what I was about to say didn't matter to them. At that, I cleared my throat and sighed to get their attention.
"Good evening, alphas, betas and everyone here. First, I appreciate you being here present" I said softly.
Suddenly, they all looked at me silently, and discomfort gnawed at me. Their stares were dangerous and intimidating.
I looked at the Bicker and nodded in approval. I mustered up all my courage and began to give my speech.
