I stared at the man in front of me. He's an i***t who clearly doesn't know who he's standing in front of.
Sighing I took a step towards Aidan as my lycan wanted to surface.
"If the moon goddess gave Dianne another mate, that only means you rejected her!" I exclaimed.
Everyone looked back at Aidan and swallowed dryly. He appreciates wanting to say something, but interjects immediately.
"Seeing the circumstances in which I found her, I see that I was not satisfied with her. Alpha Aidan, why did you lock your mate in the dungeon? I'm sure you're a complete asshole for rejecting her. If the goddess blessed you with that woman, you just lost your blessing. She's mine!"I growled.
"No! I was wrong... I should never have rejected her so I will take back my rejection immediately!" Aidan exclaimed in defiance of my words.
I felt my eyes turn black as my claws painfully protruded from my fingers. "It's my mate!" I shouted.
"I will accept her as my mate..." Added Aidan again.
However, at that moment Ezra's voice was heard "No, you won't!"
At that moment Aidan and I turned to look at Ezra, who was glaring at Aidan angrily.
I raised an eyebrow and watched as they both looked at each other with a defiant expression.
"That woman will not be Luna of the pack! She's a bloody murderer," Ezra shouted, hitting the wall hard.
My eyes widened like two plates when I heard that. Dianne a killer? That girl with the sweet eyes and delicate smile was a killer?
"Father, stop it! Dianne is my true master and when I withdraw my rejection, she will be Luna of the pack. I've made my decision!" Aidan exclaimed with an annoyed growl.
Fuck, I was about to spread my anger, when my beta contacts me mentally.
"You should come here" He said.
As soon as I heard that, I quickly ran out of the office and went to the hospital to see my mate. When I walked into the hallway he saw Bradley with a calm expression on his face.
"What happened? How is she?" I asked worriedly.
Bradley just smiled and pointed to the room" Don't worry man. She's doing much better. The doctors and nurses took good care of her all night. But, I haven't gone into the room"
"Well, did she wake up?" I was anxious to see her.
Bradley smiled and patted my shoulder" Yeah, you should go in there" He hinted with a gesture of surrender.
When those words entered my ears my heart began to race. It was the first time I had seen her awake. He's f*****g nervous. I didn't know what Dianne would think of me, or if she'd reject me.
I know Aidan had hurt her and rejected her before sending her to the dungeon, what if that caused after-effects and if she decided to turn away from me?
A million thoughts came to mind at that moment. Sighing I just shook my head and grabbed the doorknob to enter the room.
As soon as I looked inside, I saw a doctor asking Dianne a couple of tests and routine questions. Dianne seemed to be nodding her head while the corners of her lips were slightly raised.
Fuck, in front of me was the most beautiful girl my eyes had ever seen. I could smell her scent a little more, though it was still faint.
"That's great, I think you're fine" Said the doctor with a cheerful expression.
At that, the doctor handed Dianne a couple of medicines and turned around. As soon as she saw me, she nodded reverently, "My king," said the woman.
"Doctor." I indicated without taking my eyes off Dianne's perfect and beautiful face.
"My king, I am happy to inform you that your mate is recovering perfectly. It is impressive indeed" The doctor added softly.
I nodded without giving much importance to the woman, I was just waiting to talk to Dianne.
"My king? May I explain a few things to you? " Suddenly the doctor said.
I shook my head out of my trance and assisted the doctor, who began to explain the results of the tests.
Dianne had not only been abused in that dungeon, she had received painful and severe beatings in the past. She had 4 broken ribs that had not healed, a broken arm from a few days ago, and several blows to her head.
With every word the doctor said, my fists clenched in discomfort. However, when she finished, she finally left the room, leaving me alone with my mate, my beautiful, light-eyed Dianne.

From Dianne's point of view.
My whole body was f*****g aching. I felt my heart slowly pounding as someone touched my chest. I opened my eyes slightly and saw a doctor taking my pulse.
At that moment I understood that I was in the pack hospital. My chest was about to burst with pain, until suddenly I felt a heady scent of wildflowers entering my nostrils. It was a smell I had never smelled before.
I closed my eyes and concentrated on that delicious smell that got stuck in my chest.
"That's great, I think you're fine" I heard the doctor's voice.
I quickly opened my eyes and suddenly saw a man slowly approaching me. My heart was beating fast as this tall, strong, intimidating man approached me.
He had emerald green eyes, his face was prominent with small dimples on his cheeks, his lips were thick and pink. He was quite tall with a muscular appearance and completely black, shiny hair.
I felt my body shudder in his presence. I had never seen him in the pack before, which made me swallow my saliva and feel intimidated.
The man entered the room and completely dominated my body. Unknowingly a moan of pain escaped my lips.
However, I could see a faint smile come from his lips making my heart skip a beat.
I felt my wolf howling inside me, wanting to say something, but I couldn't even hear it. All my attention was on this man who was now talking to the doctor.
I tried to sit up, when suddenly he walked towards me, making my body weaken.
"Hello love" He said.
My eyes widened like two plates, not only because of his words, but because of his husky and masculine tone of voice that penetrated straight into my heart.
I stood there silently staring at him like a complete i***t. He was so sexy it was like a dream.
"Dianne" Suddenly I heard him softly whisper my name as his eyes fixed on me.
Fuck, I'd never heard my name sound so good before. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I swallowed my saliva. He took a step towards me and getting close enough he caressed my face sending endless sparks throughout my body.
"My mate"
I heard the sudden voice of my she-wolf inside me, "My mate" Lenne repeated inside me again.
I was frozen for a second until I came back to reality. I shook my head and severed the link with Lenne. I turned my tension back to the man and felt my core throbbing. This man was an alpha, I could feel his dangerous and demanding aura strong.
At that thought a pang of pain shot through my chest. I was a mere omega disowned by the entire pack. Would this alpha reject me?
Fuck, the thought of that made my heart slow down. My eyes reddened as my hands began to tremble with fear. Trying to control myself as I looked at the man's handsome looks.
However, at that moment I felt him place his hand on my chin and smile sweetly "My mate, I've been waiting for you for so many years" He lowered his voice with that warm voice that ran through my body.
I stood still and watched with intrigue "You... Are you going to reject me?" I asked calmly.
Immediately the man frowned and arched an eyebrow" "Reject you?
"Yes, I'm an omega," I said, expecting the worst.
He let out a smirk and leaned towards me. His face was so close to mine that I could feel his breath on my cheeks.
"Why would I reject you? You are my moon, my queen. The queen of all" He said in that seductive tone of voice.
As soon as I heard it, I could see the unusual sparkle in his eyes as a faint smile appeared on my face.
"Mine... mine" Lenne suddenly shouted.
"Come on, calm down!" I hinted at putting her to sleep.
I couldn't believe what was happening. The goddess had given me another mate? I had a second chance with an alpha who had accepted me as his Luna?
