When the ceremony finally took place, Bicker took my hand and together we walked off the stage and into the crowd. Everyone was eager to congratulate and flatter me, so I squeezed Bicker's hand tightly and sighed nervously. "Don't be nervous, honey, I'm with you," he said softly.
