The car finally came to a halt. I looked around and saw that we already reached home. My mind had been clouded with what happened in the car earlier that I didn't know when we arrived. He came around to my side and opened the door for me. "Thanks," I said, curtly. We both entered the house and I saw Mary in the kitchen preparing food. "How are you dear." She hugged me as I got closer to her. "I am fine." I said, wrapping my arms around her. "I've missed you so much." She said and pulled me to the kitchen. She put the food that she prepared on my plate and told me to eat, I turned around and saw my boss standing by the door of the kitchen and smiled at the both of us. I got up and went to him to enquire him if he needed anything. He said I should continue eating and that he would eat
