I went back to the room and her words were making me angry  enough to smash anyone’s head , what she meant by that I’m a scumbag , I just kissed her is it a big deal and if she dislikes me this much then why she reciprocated and  what’s with this stay away from me she doesn’t talks like that to my mates or anyone else then why me .

“ Big brother, where's Veronica ? “ Shawn asked me .

“ Let me check , she isn’t in my right pocket nor in my left so she might be somewhere to go and find herself .  I said and started unpacking my bag .

“ Here I am Shawn , you were finding me “. I turned and she was standing at the door , she didn’t even look at me as if in her eyes I am invisible .

“ Hey Veronica we were finding you only “. Shawn's face brightened after seeing her , I clenched my fist .

“ Sorry if I made you wait Shawn , I have got the list , you can have a look “ .

“ Yeah , show me “ . And Shawn stood next to her , I was feeling envious as she told me to stay away from her then why the f**k she is just so close to Shawn , is this rule of healthy distance only for me , they are so close but just see her she isn’t feeling awkward or uncomfortable  how she feels when I am around instead she is smiling at him .

“ I am the captain here so for matches you need to talk to me  Miss Veronica “, Shawn understood that he had taken a back step , he went back to where he was standing and Veronica looked at me with anger in her eyes but still she was looking beautiful .

“ Oh then here’s the list  CAPTAIN why don’t you have a look and let me know if you can’t get anything “.

“ Yeah why not “. I snatched the list and  studied the time and team name. I wanted to talk to her and at that time I just needed a topic .

“ Veronica, where's this court ? “ I asked her while looking at the paper and coming close to her .

“ In front of the first building “. She answered without even looking at me .

“ We can’t reveal their school name “. I was feeling as if the boiling blood in my nerves would burst anytime .

“ So our first match time “. I asked her, trying not to show my anger in my words .

“ It's written right there “. She pointed at the paper but I pretended to be confused .

“ I Can’t make out it can you please stand next to me and let me know “. I hated the fact that she was standing that far away from me .

“ No , I will take the paper from you and read it and let you know “.  She is stubborn but why is my heart fluttering by just seeing her around me?

“ I am not untouchable that you always need to maintain distance with me “.

“ I know but I don’t like being around monsters with no understanding of human feelings “. When she said that I could see my mates giggling , how dare she .

“ I don’t understand you ? I asked, raising my brows .

“ Yes captain neither your mates nor me “ . I was dumb stuck that who has given her to talk like that to me .

“ It's nine in the morning. I will come to escort you at nine forty five , be ready with your team till then .  I will take a leave as my work is done “.

“ I have more doubts “ . I didn’t want her to go .

“Ask Shawn I have made him understand well , he isn’t dumb like you he will let you know “.

She said and slammed the door on my face , my anger was reaching its peak , no one has treated me with this much of ego and attitude that to after kissing me , Probably she likes Shawn that’s why she is acting that way but why I’m getting worked up , I have other things to do than think what she feels for me or for someone else .

“ Brother is Sister – in – law not happy with you , you did something to her ? “

“ Yeah I'm just kis..... “ . I didn’t even realize what I was saying .

“ What brother were you saying  ? “

“ Nothing just better get back to your beds “.  This girl has made me lose my mind .

“ But brother it's not yet night “. I realized that I need to go out before making a fool out of myself .

“ Do whatever you want to  , I have matters to solve “.

“ Brother apologize , she is a good girl you probably would have crossed the line “.

I looked at William to let him know that he can’t talk further but deep inside his words struck me that did I really hurt her but she was the one who was rude to me and how can I apologize that to the girl and moreover when I don’t know what wrong I did .

I went to the corridor , she was again running errands but this time she was continuously rubbing her left wrist , I tried to look carefully to it and there was a red mark cuz of someone holding her tight and it was because of me , I didn’t realized that I actually hurt her in anger , I felt so bad for treating her that way .

“ Should I apologize but why did she ask me to stay away “.

I went downstairs where she was present , I went to my coach first to have a small talk . There I saw that Veronica was talking too much to her school coach. I don't like hearing other people talk but still I pretended to listen to what my coach was saying but my ears were on her convo .

“ Coach , I have done all the work, can I now go to eat , soon my team will have its match , I have to at least stuff myself “.

“ Why not madam Veronica? Other girls are working hard but you want to eat where you were when everyone was eating. This is why for two years you are here , I thought you will learn from these past years but no there’s no change in your attitude “.

“ Sir , I am really sorry  when everyone was eating. I was out , I had work to do , I was having a word with the captain”.

“ Stop giving excuses and just get lost , I want you to do this work first then you can eat “.

“ What’s on your hand Veronica , why is it red ? “

“ Sir it's nothing “.

“ You have no work. I thought you would help me to lift things but your wrist you can’t even take care of it “.

“ Sir I can do any work, it's nothing “.

“ Just go, I don't want to spoil my mood now “.

“ Hmm “ . Their convo I felt like squeezing the neck of that coach who has given him the right to treat her like that. How dare he .

I felt so bad , cuz of me she wasn’t able to eat and she even got scolded , this coach will surely repent for his actions .

I wished my coach farewell and went to Veronica’s coach .

“ Good morning sir “.

“ Yeah, good morning , team captain , anything you want “. His tone became full with compassion , bloody pretender .

“ Yeah , I want you to watch your mouth and its better you don’t make Veronica overwork she has only one responsibility that is to take care of our team it's better you don’t put more pressure on her “.

“ You are wrong, she is the only one who asks for more work , I didn’t force her “.

“ Doesn’t matter , if you have more work to ask that gossip girl to do , don’t make her overwork , I won't repeat the same “.

I said and left , he didn’t know who I was but if he disobeys will let him know who I am .

I went to check on Veronica , she was on the first floor getting all the hoarding from the room , I knew that if I went to her she would shoot me .

So I asked one of the counselors at her school  to tell Veronica that Shawn needs her help and he is waiting for her on the third floor .

After ten minutes she was there , this floor was empty as the boys of this floor were having their match .

She entered the room which I asked the boy to tell  her to come to  .

“ You , was it your plan ? open the door “. She started pulling the door knob but it was of no use as I locked it with a key

“ This door is going to open once we two become friends “ . I said, giving her a gentle smile .
