“Thank me for what?” Hearing Lorenzo say thank you in such an inexplicably gentle tone, I was confused and a bit uneasy as he was acting strange now and not like his usual self at all.
“Well... for everything.”
His answer made me even feel more bewildered. Men, they were so complicated, weren’t they? I grunted in my mind and quickly finished my breakfast.
“I am full now, thanks for the breakfast. Take your time.” With that, I swiftly turned to leave, heading back to my room. I couldn’t wait for my first trip outside the Palace! I felt so excited!
