I stood by the window and stared out as the moonlight painted the stark shape of the mountain, it was dark in the loft. It was just the perfect view that I loved seeing. I twitched the ring on my finger and pulled it out, dropping it on the table beside me.
“Knock.”
I moved away from the window and sat on the couch with my legs crossed.
“You should get in.”
He strutted in, holding some files behind him.
“Has it been carried out?” I was craving for some drinks. I stood up and walked to the bar section in my office and pulled out a bottle and a glass.
I strolled back to the couch and sat down, uncapped the bottle, and poured it into the glass.
