I was seated on the throne in the courtroom, staring absentmindedly at the figurines across the wall.
I have been silent, waiting for Theodore and the guards to bring Xander here.
I want him to tell me the reason he did what he did, why he had to let Aria leave the pack without my permission.
Why did he choose to go behind me and do suck a cruel thing? I was going to keep Aria safe. I have made plans, and he chooses to ruin it.
Why?
“Alpha.” Theodore’s calm voice snaps me off my thoughts and I turn and meet his eyes fixed on me.
He moves to the side, and Xander is pushed forward. He groans and stands tall in front of me grounding his teeth together.
I tap my fingers on the handle of the chair.
“Theodore.”
“Alpha, I’m here.”
“Go, get every guard involved in this.
