Chapter 16 “I’ll be in the basement going over paperwork,” said Dane, pocketing his phone. s**t. s**t. He was supposed to have dealt with Sean by now. It had been a week and he’d put off reporting him, and now the man was coming back here to Crypt Coffee. Dane had really hoped somehow Sean would have dropped everything, realized this was all for the better. Moved on. But really, what could he have expected from someone who led as boring a life as Sean did? He was screwed, and there wasn’t anything Dane could do.
