Chapter 7: The Truth inside the Kingdom Peria!

"Can you tell me what you're talking about with King Mathias and my Sister Rebecca?" Gianna was perplexed as to what Viktor was talking about and inquired.

More specifically, she inquired as to what he meant by intentionally changing her face.

Gianna wondered aloud, "And, what is this Luna or Moon Goddess stuff?"

As Victor looked at Princess Gianna, he took a long breath and exhaled it. He was well aware that her thoughts were jumbled as a result of what he had said a while ago, but he felt compelled to explain everything to her from the beginning.

"Here, pay attention to what I'm about to tell you, Princess Gianna," he said to get her attention.

"First and foremost, King Mathias is not your father!" he exclaimed to her surprise.

" What are you talking about?! Are you serious?! How did you say that?! " she screamed at him, completely disbelieving what she had just heard from him.

" That is the truth, Princess Gianna. He is not the true king, he is not your father, because the King who currently resides in the Palace is an impostor! " He gave her a firm response.

"Do you have any evidence that the King who is currently in the Palace is an impostor?" Gianna inquired, shakily shaking her head. "Do you have any evidence that he isn't my father?" She was serious when she asked him the question.

" The evidence I've gathered from our investigations demonstrates that everything I've said is correct. I have someone to back up my claims, and I can assure you that everything I've said is true!" Viktor gave her a forceful response.

"But now, allow me to tell you all about the one who is currently holding the position of King of Kingdom Peria!" he declared solemnly.

Gianna fixed her gaze on his eyes. Her fear, which she had been experiencing for a time, had vanished. She didn't know how, but she knew she had to pay attention to what he will say.

Gianna closed her eyes to brace herself for what she was about to hear. She didn't understand why, but her thoughts and feelings were telling her that she needed to put her faith in him.

“There used to be three Packs of werewolves that used to reside here in Kingdom Peria, First, there is the Golden Moon Pack, which is led by my father, Alpha King Bernard; second, there is the Blue Moon Pack, which was lost due to an attack by another Pack, which is the Black Moon Pack, which is now led by Alpha Jude! " he started.

" It has been discovered by our investigators that Alpha Jude obtained the King Mathias while he was on a royal engagement with your mother Queen Elize seventeen years ago. He drunk a potion that transformed him into the likeness of King Mathias, and from that point on, he ruled over the Kingdom of Peria," he went on to say.

"Can you tell me about his reasons for assuming the title of king of Kingdom Peria?" Gianna had approached him and asked him a question.

"To govern the entire Kingdom Peria!" he said as he openly responded to her query.

"In case you didn't know, werewolves are quite territorial. If we were aware that the territories were ours, we would fight until our breath was taken away!" He went on to clarify.

Viktor continued, "Another reason is that the Black Moon werewolves eat human flesh, which the Moon Goddess forbade us from doing a long time ago. However, the Black Moon werewolves still continue to eat humans because they are no longer held by the Moon Goddess, but have betrayed her and sold their lives to the Devil."

"Jude utilizes his authority as a King to persuade individuals to provide food for his Pack. He continued.

"As far as we know, they take two persons quarterly, one for themselves and the other for the Devil they adored."

“The loss of people is not noticed by ordinary people like you because the population of Kingdom Peria continues to rise year after year, and they didn't investigate if some ordinary people lost, ” he explained.

" The reason he has to act like the King is beyond me. Isn't it true that they can take people whenever they want?" Gianna had approached him and asked him a question.

"If the Black Moons seize control of the people, there will be chaos in Kingdom Peria, Princess Gianna. The people will become aware that there are werewolves residing in the Kingdom, and our race will be put in danger as a result," Viktor responded.

" Humans outnumber werewolves by a factor of two, and when you learn of our existence, every Kingdom will be alarmed, and we werewolves will be apprehended and slain by you," he continued.

“So Jude came up with the idea of leveraging his position as King to prevent that, werewolves, from having preconceived notions about us,” he explained.

Because of what Viktor had told her, Gianna nodded her head.

The justifications Viktor gives Princess Gianna are understandable, but she remains skeptical about her claim that the King Mathias who is currently in the Palace is an impostor.

"I know it's difficult to believe what I've said about the King, but it's the complete truth, Princess Gianna, and it's also the reason they want you dead!" Victor informed her about the situation.

"Can you tell me what you said? I got the accident because of King Mathias?" Gianna looked at him.

"You're absolutely correct, Princess Gianna. It has been planned by King Mathias and Princess Rebecca that everything that has happened to you since your birthday has taken place!" testified in support of what he said

Gianna couldn't believe what he had just said to her.

" What you mentioned, Viktor, does not hold water in my eyes. Rebecca will never be able to do such a thing to me like that because we are sisters, even if I believe King Mathias is an impostor!" Gianna addressed him directly and emphatically.

" The two of us are close, and we both love each other as sisters! Your accusations are so far from being true!" she continued.

"No, Princess Gianna, that is not an allegation; I am speaking the truth here." Viktor responded to her in kind.

"No! Rebecca is unable to carry out your alligations!" intransigence on her part

Viktor only made a shaky motion with his head. He understand that she couldn't believe him. They got along well, but Gianna was unaware that she was harboring a grudge against her in the back of her mind.

"Can you think what happened when your birthday was over, Princess Gianna?" Viktor asked her.

The words of Viktor left her speechless, and she found herself thinking back on what had happened at the time.

She spoke with Rebecca at that point, and she offered her wine. They drank it together, and then she had no recollection of what had happened after that.

"Wasn't it Princess Rebecca who gave you the wine the first time before you lose consciousness after that?" Viktor confronted her with a question.

"That night, you were apprehended by members of the Royal Guard, and the next day, you were deported to Zara Island? Does it sound correct?" he inquired.

Because of what Viktor had told her, Gianna nodded her head.

His explanation was as follows, " By that point, the cars were poised to collide with your car that resulted your accident, that was Princess Rebecca desired!"

Gianna reflected on everything Viktor had said to her earlier.

Yes, it was precisely what had occurred in her room at the Palace, but she couldn't believe that Rebecca had orchestrated everything since she couldn't quite think that her loving sister could pull something like that!

"If what you're stating is correct, what is Rebecca's purpose for doing this? And how did you know about those things?" Gianna was serious when she asked him the question.

"When you ask how I found out, Princess Gianna, I can tell you that I have connections within the Palace. It's not a secret to me what's going on inside," Viktor said.

" On your birthday," he said, "I was there as well, standing on the corner and watching you have a good time with Richard!"

"I was able to gain access to the Palace through my connections, Princess Gianna. I have the ability to do whatever I want, and I know what I should know!" he exclaimed.

" I'll introduce you to someone who's inside the Palace if you don't trust me. He is also a werewolf who drinks Potion to keep King Mathias from smelling that there are other werewolves in the Palace besides the Black Moon werewolves!" he suggested.

"Do you mean there are some Black Moon werewolves inside the Palace?" Gianna was taken aback and questioned.

"There are already a large number of them there, and they are serving in the Palace, and when Rebecca approaches her eighteenth birthday, her werewolf identity will be revealed as well!" Viktor responded in kind.

Gianna remained silence as a result of the bits and pieces of informations she had gleaned from Viktor. She didn't want to trust him, even though he was confident that he wasn't lying.

"I understand that you don't fully accept it yet, Princess Gianna, but I also understand that you don't believe me when I say I'm not lying, do you?" Viktor had approached her and asked her a question.

Gianna's gaze was drawn to Viktor as a result of what he had stated.

"If you're wondering how I knew how you were feeling, it's because you're my Luna, and you're the Mate that the Moon Goddess had planned for me! Despite the fact that I haven't marked you yet, we both have a link to how you're feeling right now. Because you are my Luna, we shall know everything about us, including what we think." He explained.

"As far as my declaring you to be my Luna, we werewolves already have a Mate promised for us by the Moon Goddess," he continues. " There's nothing we can do to change the situation." Viktor told to her that.

" If we have already discovered our Mate, we must go grab him or her and mark them because otherwise, something very horrible will happen to us!" he ended.

"You mean to tell me I'm your Mate, and you need me to make sure nothing horrible happens to you?" Gianna had inquired him.

"You're absolutely correct, Princess Gianna," Viktor responded.

"What if I don't like you and I will reject you? Is there anything you can do?" she inquired, her voice serious.

Viktor rubbed his chin in displeasure at what she had heard to her.

"You mean, you thinking that you're going to reject me?" He couldn't believe what he heard.

“Given the current condition of our affairs, I will categorically deny you; nevertheless, we are unsure whether anything will change in the next few days or months,” Gianna responded to him.

Viktor nodded his head in agreement with what Gianna had said.

"You'll never be able to reject me, Princess Gianna, since I'm destined to be with you for the rest of my life!" Viktor gave him his assurance.

"Let's see how it goes, Viktor!" Gianna exclaimed to him.

"Why aren't we able to come to an agreement, Princess Gianna?"
