Bella thought Charles would have explained something to her for what happened in front of the door this morning, but he was not only late to the company but also did not talk to her until the end of work.
Although there were no meetings, the interviewers constantly came and she was very busy.
At noon, Edwin asked her to have lunch, and colleagues did not know their true relationship. So, everyone in the staff canteen looked at them with complicated eyes. Their eyes were filled with pity and disdain.
Edwin joked, “If you allow me to announce your identity, they will not misunderstand.”
“Misunderstand what?” Bella’s mind was full of the scenes that Katherine was crying in Charles’s arms, therefore she did not notice the eyes around her.
“Misunderstand that you Charles.” Edwin chuckled.
