Bella stopped a cab and asked the driver to take her to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, she found Lynn waiting by her mother’s bed. The first thing she did was call a nurse and asked her to examine her mother. She wanted to be sure that nothing had happened to her. Once that was okay she pulled the nurse somewhere Lynn could not hear.
“How did this woman get here?”
“She said she’s a relative.”
“Well, she isn’t. From now on you’re not going to allow anyone else apart from me to visit my mother.”
“Understood,” said the nurse.
Bella returned to her mother’s room and put her hand around Lynn’s arm. She didn’t want to start a fight in front of her mother. The doctors had informed her that mother could understand what was going on in the room.
