Bella took his arms and tried to apologize. “I'm sorry for being too sensitive. I shouldn't have doubted you.”
“I won't forgive you.” He pulled away his hands and glared at her, “I'm telling you, our cooperation is over. Now take this stupid kid out of my way.”

Nick pulled his arm away and rushed out of the gate, slamming the door shut.

“Let’s get out of here,” she said to Brandon.
“How are we going to get back? I don’t see any cabs.”
