"Where do you two think you are going," The PE teacher said as Nate and I started walking toward the door to leave.
"My dad called and said he needed us to come home," Nate said
"He asked for both of you?" The teacher asked
"Yes, he did. You can call him if you like, but I am sure he will be upset that you are keeping us from getting home. Like I said, it's very important," Nate said. I didn't think the teacher would fall for what Nate was saying. I thought he would yell at us and tell us to go sit on the bleachers, but I was wrong.
"Okay, you can leave," The teacher said. He had a worried look on his face. Nate and I walked out of the gym.
"I can't believe he let us go. He didn't even call your dad," I said
