"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Amanda said as I knocked on the door.
"It's the only thing I can think to do," I replied, and then Charles opened the door.
"I thought I told you to leave," Charles said
"Look, I know you are upset with me, and I understand why you are, but the f*******: post is a lie. Amanda and I are not in a relationship. She is a family friend. Her mom and mine have been friends since college. Right, Amanda?" I said
"Who is at the door, Charles," Mr Mitchell said, and then he looked at me. "Oh, hey, Ryan. Miracle isn't going to school today. She said she wasn't feeling well," Mr Mitchell said, and then he looked at Amanda. "Who is this?"
