Paige's POV
"How was school today my baby ??" I asked Alex as I helped him out of his uniform,
"School was school" he said with the usual bored tone he always uses whenever I ask him about school but I don't stop cause I really want him to see the fun in school, he is smart but he doesn't seem so interested,typical his father,
"And how was your little drive from school with your Dad" Grace asked knowing fully well I wasn't going to mention him,
"It was fine,he offered to take me somewhere but I knew Mum wouldn't want that so i didn't agree besides I don't trust him" he said so seriously I didn't know if I found it funny or not,
"Why do you say so?" Grace asked so interested,
"Cause mum is always so weary of him and I can't be comfortable around someone my mum is not comfortable with"
